Nagpaalam sa akin si Jared na pupunta siya sa London para magbakasyon. But I know my twin brother, si Maia lang ang bibisitahin niya.

Ako naman ay pumunta sa Vienna para sa aking summer work sa company ni Uncle Matthias. Si Angelica muna ang bahala sa dog shelter sa Tanay, Rizal.

Hindi ako nagtatrabaho kay Uncle Matthias as a member of the board pero bilang isang cleaner slash janitorial services. Simple lang naman ang trabaho ko at mga pinoy din ang kasama ko. My salary is way higher than the managers kaya pumayag ako. Sabi ni Uncle Syl, this job will teach me to value money and to be humble.

"Good morning, part timer," bati ni Max Wagner, isang manager sa company ni Uncle Matthias.

He already knows me dahil alam niya na tuwing bakasyon lang ako naglilinis dito, but he does not know that I am related with their big boss.

"Good morning, Mr. Wagner!" masiglang bati ko sa kanya habang pinupunasan ang mga workstations ng mga empleyado. It is too early at wala pa ang ibang mga workers.

"Why don't you apply as my secretary instead? I can pay you double," biro niya sa akin while drinking his coffee.

Di man niya sabihin, halatang type ako nitong manager na ito. He's in late twenties and also a good looking lad. Kaya lang, he's Austrian. Hindi ko type ang foreigner. Mas type ko pinoy, yung parang si Cole.

Yes, si Cole lang at wala ng iba!

"Thanks for the offer, but I love my job, sir. The company is paying me more than enough."

"How old are you? Are you a college student?" tanong niya habang pinagmamasdan bawat galaw ko. Kulang na lang hubaran niya ko, pero since he's always nice, hindi ko na pinapatulan.

"Yes, two more years and I will be graduating."

"I hope you are taking up management studies so you can work here."

Yun oh! Pumoporma na si Mr. Wagner sa akin. Sana andito si Cole para magselos man lang siya kahit very slight.

"I am studying Archaeology and Medieval Languages. My grandfather is an archaeologist and a history professor. I want to follow his profession."

"Wow. I am looking forward on your graduation day so I can formally ask you for a dinner date."

Gentleman naman pala. Gusto makagraduate ako muna!

Di na ko nakasagot dahil biglang pumasok si Uncle Matthias sa floor kung saan ako naglilinis. Kasunod niya si Cole. Kahit si Max Wagner ay nagulat dahil andito ang CEO ng airline company.

"Do you know where your brother is going?" tanong ni Uncle Matthias sa akin nang makalayo kami kay Max.

"Sa London, sa dating bahay ng Lolo Rusty. Bakit po?"

"He's heading north."

"Ahh baka pinuntahan muna si Maia sa Cambridge. Why? Is there something going on?"

"Amos is constantly checking the two of you. He just reported na may ilang lalaki na sumusunod kay Jared. He can't confirm if these are humans or demons. Can you take a look at the videos that he sent?"

Sumunod lang ako sa office ni Uncle Matthias. He is Aunt Lena's brother and my mother's best friend. He is also my father's most trusted man kaya pamilya na ang turing namin sa kanya.

"Amos is right. These men are indeed demons. It seems that they followed him sa airport at may ilang demons na nag-aabang na sa kanya sa Heathrow Airport. Are these the rogue demons na sinasabi nila Uncle Syl at Uncle Joaquin? Or baka eto yung mga demons na alagad mismo ni Jared?"

"I don't know, but if I am going to base my conclusion on Jared's body language, it seems that he does not know these demons. He is not secured with their presence. He knows that he is being followed. This is the last footage when he reached Cambridge."

Pinakita ni Uncle Matthias na bumaba si Jared ng bus at naglakad papasok sa isang restaurant. He fast forwarded the video at mukhang hindi na lumabas si Jared.

"We saw him after a few hours on a train going back to London. He's already with Maia."

"I think he used teleportation para hindi siya mahabol ng mga demons. He knows how to that, we inherited it from our mom."

"Your mother, Reichel is a strong woman. Clumsy and yet strong willed. You have to be strong Maddie for your brother. He has the demon attributes from Isagani. He needs your help and you have to guide him. It seems that these demons are interested with him. Alive or dead, I don't know."

I tried to call Jared, pero di niya sinasagot ang tawag. He keeps texting me not to worry. Nang dumating ang gabi, nagulantang na lang kami nang tumawag si Amos and he detailed kung paano inatake si Jared ng mga demons sa isang underground train station sa London.

Within a few minutes, tumawag din si Maia and she mentioned that Jared is suffering from a demon wound.

"Are you sure you don't want us to be there?" tanong ni Aunt Lena sa akin habang inaayos ang bag ko. Uncle Matthias already agreed that we will be using his plane to London.

"Auntie, kasama ko naman si Cole and matagal na namin pinag-aralan ni Jared kung paano mag heal ng demon wounds. Kailangan ka ni Uncle Syl dito. Don't worry about me," sabi ko sabay yakap sa kanya.

Ang Uncle Syl at Uncle Joaquin ay madalas nasa demon hunting mode. Most of the demons are in Europe right now specially in Spain. Kasama nila si Franz and Eli, ang kanilang supernatural hunters protege na anak ng assistants ng daddy ko na si Francesca at Elisha.

"Cole, take care of my baby. Pumapayag lang ako dahil alam ko na andyan ka. I know you will always look after Maddie."

Tumango lang si Cole kay Aunt Lena. Even if this man is getting married soon, I know that he cares for me. Maybe as a little sister nga lang.
