Chapter 82 - Jared

Ayoko pa sana bumangon sa kama, pero maagap pa lang ay ginising na ko ni Cole. Nasa living room area na siya at nakaharap agad siya sa laptop niya. Meron na din mga nakahanda na pagkain sa lamesa. It only means that he received another message from Nameless at mukhang di na kami makakalabas for our first breakfast as husband and wife.

"Anong meron?" sabi ko sabay upo sa tabi niya.

Ngumiti lang siya sa akin and he showed me his other laptop kung saan nakaka received ng communications from Nameless.

See me in a port city along the Mediterranean coastline

Two more airplanes are pending for my test

Bumalik na naman ang realidad na wala ako sa fairytale, nasa real life ako at may ancient being na threat sa buhay namin.

"I already sent this to Jared. Kahit yung list of Mediterranean cities, pinadala ko na sa kanya para pag-aralan niya. Ayusin mo na yung gamit mo, we will leave anytime soon. If this poem is correct, dalawang plane na naman ang nasa panganib."

"Isang gabi lang ang honeymoon natin?" biro ko sa kanya.

"Sinong may sabi na hindi pwede sa private plane ni Sir Rusty?" he teased me back before kissing me.

Wala pang isang oras, nakatanggap na kami ng tawag mula sa kapatid ko. He is already in Kingston, Jamaica kasama si Maia. Kausap niya si Cole at they are trying to solve this next riddle.

"Anong sabi ni Jared?" tanong ko kay Cole habang kumakain ng pancake na inorder niya.

"He wants me to send him all of the flights going to countries na dinadaanan ng Tropic of Cancer."

"Cole, napaka daming bansa along Tropic of Cancer. Napaka dami din flights na dumadating sa isang bansa sa loob ng isang araw," sagot ko sa kanya habang sinusubuan siya ng pancake.

"Gusto niya na mag focus ako sa names ng pilots. Anything na related or close sa name na Mahalaleel, whether first or last name."

"Mahalaleel? Sino yun?"

"Mahalaleel is the father of Jared," nakangiti niyang sagot sa akin.

"Father of Jared? Cole, niloloko mo ba ko? Ang layo ng pangalan ng daddy ko sa Mahalaleel. Alam mo naman siguro na ang real name ng daddy ay Isagani di ba?"

"Of course, my dear wife. Paano ko makakalimutan na si Prinsipe Isagani at si Sage ay iisa? I am referring to Mahalaleel or Mihlaiel from the Hebrew bible," sagot ni Cole as he showed me a picture of the ancient patriarchs from the book of Genesis.

It shows Adam's name followed by Seth, Enosh, Cainan, Mahalaleel and Jared.

"The first airplane that disappeared na papuntang Mauritania, Adam Dubois ang name nung pilot in command. This is in reference to the first man created by God in the Bible. Tama ba, Cole?"

"That is right. Joseth Ahmed naman ang pangalan ng main pilot ng flight ni Katerina sa Istanbul, Turkey. Jared thinks it is related to Seth, son of Adam. Yung plane na nag disappear sa Dubai, Jenoshi Chan naman ang name ng pilot in command. Tingin niya, it is related to Enosh, son of Seth.

"Cole, yung recent airplane na sumabog from Beijing to Taiwan, the main pilot's name is Harold McKenan. I remembered his name!"

"Nameless is using the original family tree from the bible. Kenan or Cainan is the son of Enosh. Kung susundin ni Jared ang pattern, he needs to find a pilot under the name of Mahalaleel, son of Cainan."

"And lastly, he needs the pilot name under the name of Jared, son of Mahalaleel. Tama ba?"

 "That's right. Jared knows na lahat ng arrival countries ay dapat along the Tropic of Cancer dahil constant yun sa lahat ng laro ni Nameless, but Jared is careful now. We did not limit our search to these countries, we search all global flights to be sure."  

Binigay sa akin ni Cole ang dalawang papel. The first paper is a direct flight from Bangkok, Thailand and to Dhaka, Bangladesh. The pilot's name is Mahalaleel Shafeek. The second paper is a non stop flight from Paris, France to Algiers, Algeria and the pilot's name is Jared Klein.

"For the next few days, eto lang ang dalawang flights na ito ang may pilot name na Mahalaleel at Jared. Surprisingly, Bangladesh and Algeria are both in the Tropic of Cancer kaya confident si Jared sa theory niya. I already contacted Amos and asked him to do anything para hindi magtake off ang dalawang planes."

"If my brother is right, our last destination is the North African country of Algeria. I have been there before for a short vacation. This country is bordered by the Mediterranean Sea in the north. Pero Cole, napakarami na cities sa Algeria ang located sa shores of the Mediterranean Sea. Sigurado din ako na maraming overlooking na church sa Algeria."

"We are looking for at least eight coastal cities sa Algeria, but Jared thinks the word cross in the line Come and cross me in a church high above the ground has a different meaning."

"Cross is synonymous to meet or intersect, pero pwede din naman na actual cross ang tinutukoy niya di ba?"

"Pareho kayong mag-isip ng kapatid mo. There is a Santa Cruz church na overlooking sa city of Oran in Algeria. He believes that this is the place where Nameless wants to meet us."

"Cole, alam mo na pwedeng sumapi sayo si Nameless di ba? Alam mo na pwedeng may mangyari sa iyong masama? I tried to cast some spell sayo noon para hindi ka ma possess ng kahit ano, but I think Nameless is an exemption dahil madali niya na override ang spell ko."

"Julia, mas pipiliin ko na gamitin ni Nameless ang katawan ko kaysa sa kapatid mo. Wala akong kapangyarihan. I am just an ordinary dude. We will be in a bigger trouble if Nameless will possess Jared's body. Imagine a very powerful being inside a powerful body."

Wala kaming concrete plans ni Cole, pero pumunta kami pareho sa Oran, Algeria hoping for the best. Jared also confirmed na papunta na din sila ni Maia doon. If everything will work out as planned, we will go back home safely and we will be able to defeat Nameless. Worst case scenario, Nameless will rule the word and it would be our end.
