Caitlin walked Iris out of the room. Iris wasn't even holding her head anymore. It was easy to tell that she was just faking for attention, and Caitlin knew this because every time Barry turned around to look at us, Iris would hold her head again. Patty was actually the one in pain and Caitlin felt extremely bad for her. Iris then looked at Caitlin.
"Didn't you like just get shot? Why are you even in school." She said with attitude. Caitlin sighed and didn't look at Iris.
"I only stayed for a week. I can heal on my own." She muttered. Iris rolled her eyes.
"Didn't I tell you that if you talked to Barry i'd take care of you?" She reminded.
"Yeah...yeah you did..." Caitlin said with a shaky voice. She was mostly blocking out what Iris was saying because she was feeling weak. Iris kept babbling on about how Caitlin needs to stay away from Barry or else, but Caitlin just was not listening.
She felt her face getting paler and paler and the hallway was getting longer and it felt as though the whole building was tipping over. It felt like the aftermath of spinning on a tire swing rapidly fast without stopping. Iris didn't even care to notice she just wanted Barrys attention so she through herself on the ground.
"Ouch Caitlin!!! Why did you just push me down?!" Iris shouted loud enough so that Barry could hear. Barry turned his head and saw Iris and on the ground and Caitlin walking slowly waiting for Iris to stand up. Barry then let the nurse take Patty and he walked over to Caitlin and Iris.
"Iris what are you doing?" He questioned kind of annoyed.
"Caitlin pushed me! I just needed extra support to walk and she pushed me down!!" Iris said pretty convincingly. Caitlin wasn't listening and just staring out the window. Barry noticed Caitlin's stare. He then looked at Iris and sighed.
"Iris just go back to the classroom and stop." He said angrily. Caitlin glanced at Barry and then back out the window. Iris felt angry and sad from being turned down and she walked off angry. Barry went to Caitlin immediately.
"Hey are you okay?" He asked slightly worried. Caitlin left her stare and nodded.
"What? I'm fine don't worry. How about you?" She asked. Barry nodded.
"I'm fine, I should head back to Patty...Talk later?" He said. Caitlin nodded and watched Barry walk back into the nurses office. Caitlin then felt a strong pain in her abdomen and a drop of sweat drip down her pale face. She then saw a streak of lightning.
The hallways were empty. The storm was still going on. People were rushing to the nurse. The sirens of ambulance and fire trucks were sounding loudly down the street. Moments later, Caitlin saw people running out of classrooms and making their way to the basement. They couldn't go outside in the dangerous weather! Caitlin just stood there. She was waiting for Barry to make sure that he was okay.
Suddenly, the hallways were empty. Caitlin saw Barry walk out of the nurses office and he look around confused. Caitlin stopped caring about her dizziness and fast walked to Barry. She then gripped his arm.
"Barry! We need to go to the basement the storm is getting worse!" She exclaimed. Once Caitlin gripped Barry's arm, Barry held her arm noticing her weak grip. After she spoke, he nodded and rushed them down to the basement. Everyone was in the basement against the walls covering their heads on the ground. Caitlin and Barry looked at each other and Barry grabbed Caitlin's hand and took her down to the ground against the wall with him. Caitlin continued to hold her grip on Barry's hand. Barry didn't want to let go of her hand. They each used their free hands to hold their heads in protection.
People were screaming in fear, others were panicking and breathing heavy. Some people weren't even Caitlin kept her eyes on Barry even though she had to keep her head down. She smiled small at him. Of course, she was in full worry about the storm happening outside, but Barry's handsome face and soft glowing skin helped her keep her mind off it. Barry met eye contact with her and they gazed into each other's eyes. They both immediately got lost.
Moments later, the wind slowed down. Caitlin slowly rose her head and looked around. People still had their heads down but others knew that the storm passed through. The power had already gone out a long time ago and it still hadn't come back on. Barry looked over at Caitlin and sat up. Caitlin looked at Barry and sighed.
"Are you okay?!" She asked in a worried tone. Barry nodded.
"I'm okay, what about you? You're sweating." Barry questioned. Caitlin gave a slight smile.
"I'm alright." She said still giving a small smile. Barry smiled back and helped her stand up. Caitlin stood up holding Barry's hands and she looked up into his eyes. Barry looked into hers and they both got lost again. The teachers were going around checking attendance to make sure nobody got lost or hurt.
"Patty Spivot?" Mr. Jones called out while looking at his attendance sheet. Barry and Caitlin lost their gaze and looked at Mr. Jones. Barry widened his eyes. Caitlin looked at him.
"What? What is it?" She asked curiously. Barry looked at Caitlin.
"I left Patty in the nurses office by accident! You took me to the basement and made me forget about her!!" Barry semi-shouted at Caitlin. Caitlin slightly flinched and looked down. She became speechless. Caitlin had never heard Barry so angry, especially at her. Barry didn't say anything and ran downstairs. Caitlin looked at Barry and decided to not chase after him. He was angry, and she didn't want to get him more mad. Mr. Jones became confused and then continued down the attendance list.
Barry ran to the nurses office and saw the nurse taking care of Patty. He sighed and entered the room.
"Hey, is she doing okay?" He questioned. The nurse nodded.
"Yes, but I'm pretty sure she has s concussion. Her pupils aren't reacting to light and she is queasy and lightheaded." Replied the nurse. Barry nodded and lightly kissed Patty's forehead. Patty's slightly smiled.
"Hi..." She mumbled while holding an ice pack to her head. The nurse then started to help others. There were many nurses in the large room. Many people were injured and even unconscious.
"You should go back to everyone, I'll be fine." Patty spoke. Barry sighed but then nodded.
"Let me know what happens I'll go," He kissed her lightly and left. He went back to his class and looked around for Caitlin. Barry felt bad about yelling at her. Caitlin was against the wall talking with Oliver. Barry spotted them and felt a little bit of jealousy.
"Yes, well I did make that small comment," Oliver chuckled. Caitlin laughed and shoved his shoulder playfully. Barry just glared at them from a distance. He couldn't take the jealousy. Barry then began to walk to them in an angry fast pace.
