Hi guys, I'm sorry I have been gone for 2638495 months!! I'm such a loser. Anyways, my style in writing has changed a bit so my apologies for that. It's only slightly different, I did it because it's more organized. I hope you all enjoy the rest of this story!

Two weeks went by and Caitlin still hadn't shown up to school. Barry was worried, but then he fully understood that Caitlin didn't want to see him anymore. He eventually stopped looking for her and gave up.

Caitlin had been out of town. She was visiting her old childhood friend. They allowed her to stay as long as she needed to. Patty went to Barry and sighed.

"I don't think she's coming back. I'm sorry." She spoke sadly.

"I-It's okay...I just wish I could apologize." Barry replied. Patty nodded.

"You'll see her sometime soon. I promise." She comforted.

Barry went home that day and started to try and contact Caitlin on social media again. He couldn't just give up on her, I mean he was so into her. Maybe even in love. He left voicemails over and over until her voicemail finally said:

'We're sorry, but the mailbox you tried to reach is full...' Barry threw his phone at the floor and put his hands to his head and his eyes started to get wet.

Weeks went by...then months...Still, no Caitlin. The school year was coming to an end and it was like nothing had happened. Graduation day came and Barry arrived with Oliver.

"Last day of hell." Oliver spoke in relief.
Barry laughed.

"Yes, but then college." He replied with a slight chuckle. Oliver sighed.

"Yeah yeah, don't remind me." He responded. Barry smiled slightly sitting down with Oliver. He looked around to see if Caitlin showed up. She was out of sight. Barry looked down upset. Where has she gone? Why did she go? That's all Barry could think in his mind.

Then...the sun came out of the clouds. Barry looked over and saw her. The rays of the sun hitting her auburn hair. A sparkle came from her beautiful brown eyes. Barry's heart stopped and he couldn't keep his eyes off of her. Oliver looked at Barry confused. Felicity saw her and ran over.

"Caitlin! You came!!" She shouted smiling while hugging her. Barry looked her up and down. He was across the room, yet she looked so clear. She wasn't wearing her graduation cap and gown. That confused him and he continued to look at her.

"I couldn't miss my best friends graduation!" Caitlin replied smiling. Felicity smiled brightly.

Barry had to say something to Caitlin, he hadn't seen her in almost two months. He then walked over to her but he was too late. Her and Patty walked away before noticing that he was walking over. Barry stood there slightly embarrassed before he walked into the gymnasium alone.

Oliver walked in with him and patted his back

"It's going to be okay, dude. You'll have more time to say hi to her." He spoke in comfort.

Barry nodded and shared a smile with Oliver. A pit was dropped in Barry's stomach. Caitlin is there. She's right there. Across the room. He can see her glowing smile and sparkling eyes. Oliver looked at him again with furrowed eyebrows and continued to pay attention to the principal who was speaking.

"First up, Tiffany Abeledo!" Claps sounded around the auditorium. Everyone was smiling out of joy. Everyone was growing up. At least it felt like that. Felicity looked over at Oliver and smiled slightly. Oliver smiled back and continued to clap. Barry got nervous. He knew he was coming up soon. And then Caitlin would see him. He was scared of what she might whisper to Felicity. He was scared to make eye contact with her and watch the glow disappear. A few other names were called and then came his turn.

     "Bartholomew Allen."

Caitlin's heart sunk. Patty looked back at her. Caitlin was of course in the parent section due to her long leave of absence. She finished off school online and graduated a week ago.

She watched Barry walk up the stage and shake hands with the principal. His calculus teacher shook his hand and gave him the diploma. His smile was bright. Caitlin studied it. She missed it. She left. Guilt came over her like a tsunami. I mean, he really hurt her. She couldn't bare to look at him, but seeing him smile? That lit up her world in ways she can't explain.

Barry hesitated to look at everyone clapping for him. He looked over and met eyes with Caitlin immediately. Like magnets. Caitlin looked at him with a slight smile and started to clap. Barry smiled and walked off the stage.

He felt such relief. Just being able to meet eye contact with her made him feel like everything was going to be okay.

Oliver looked over at Felicity with wide eyes and revealed a smile. Felicity smiled back and winked at him with joy.

The last person got called and everyone was clapping. The principal smiled brightly.

"Congratulations, class of 2008! Toss up those caps!" She hollered. The students then threw up their caps whilst cheering loudly. Caitlin smiled and ran to Patty. The two hugged tightly and laughed.

"I've officially entered adulthood!" Patty screamed with a beaming smile. Caitlin chuckled and the two hugged again.

"C'mon, let's find Oliver!" Patty added before pulling Caitlin by the arm all the way across the arena.

Caitlin was already nervous. Sure, she already met eyes with Barry, but she hadn't been in front of him in months. She hadn't breathed the same air as him. She hadn't felt the warm touch of his skin against her. It's been months. Caitlin felt so guilty, but at the same time she just needs to talk to him.

Felicity then ran up to Patty and Caitlin excited.

"We just fricken graduated!" She shouted in excitement. The girls shared a group hug in tears of joy. Everyone was happy. It was time for a new life.

Patty and Felicity got excited and started running expecting Caitlin to follow them, but she didn't realize they started to run.

"Guys, wait up!" She shouted laughing. The girls ran up and hugged Oliver which made Caitlin realize something. She continued running trying to catch up.

If the girls found Oliver, that means Barry-

Before she could even finish thinking that thought, she bumped into a hard chest and almost made them fall, luckily whoever she bumped into was strong and kept their balance. The person gripped onto Caitlin's arms keeping her stable and looked down at her. Caitlin finally looked up and widened her eyes slightly.

"Barry..."

To be continued.

A/N: Hi again! I just want to apologize once more for the delay in this story. I got really bad writers block, but I'm finally back in the game. Hopefully, I make more sense as a write now than I did before. Love you guys!

PS: also sorry if the parts are shorter than other stories you may read, I normally stop at 1000-1500 words which isn't really a lot to read, but a lot to write in my opinion. Leave your opinion on how long you'd like the parts to be and I'll do my best!
