Unexpected Chemistry

Extended Hannibal Bates *Important*

"Caitlin, look at me right now!" Barry ordered while lifting her head up. Caitlin opened her eyes looking at him. She was struggling to breathe, but kept looking into Barry's eyes.

"You're not dying. You're not dying." Barry shouted. Caitlin felt blood fall out of her mouth and horizontally down her cheek. Barry wiped it away in denial.

"We're ending up together Cait. Remember? You said you'll always love me. Well I've never stopped. So you have to stay alive for me please. Can you do that?" He said letting tears fall. Caitlin nodded slowly.

"I love you, always." She softly spoke and began coughing up blood. Barry shook his head and kissed hers. He screamed for help, yet nobody came.

"Find Henry...please you have to find him Barry." Caitlin said. Barry nodded and kept letting tears fall.

"It wouldn't matter, you're staying alive and we'll find him together!" He replied. Caitlin lies her head back getting weaker by the second. Barry kept crying and holding her cheeks.

Seconds later, Caitlin took her final breaths and closed her eyes. Barry widened his eyes in fear.

"Cait?" He called out choked up by his tears. Caitlin didn't reply. Her breathing stopped. Her body was still. Barry cried onto her chest.

Patty ran in with Garrick at her side. Patty widened her eyes with a gasp and ran over.

"Barry! What the fuck happened?!" She questioned. Barry lifted his head slightly and saw her run over.

"She's gone." He answered in tears.
