Barry then grabbed Caitlin's arm and walked her down the hallway in a fast pace. Caitlin became confused and looked at Barry.
"What are you doing?!" She asked with wide eyes. Barry sighed in anger.
"Why are you talking with Oliver?" Barry questioned. Caitlin tilted her head.
"Because he is nice, why?" She replied. Barry crossed his arms.
"He is far from nice." He exclaimed. Caitlin squinted her eyes.
"Aren't you like his best friend?" She asked confused. Barry nodded.
"Yes, but he's still not good for you." He said in a firm and angry voice. Caitlin just stared at Barry. She couldn't believe him.
"Okay." She mumbled. Barry raised his eyebrows. Woah, did she actually forgive him for this? Was she actually okay with it? No. Was Barry feeling guilty? Yes. Caitlin then backed away and walked away. Instead of going back to Oliver, she walked to the other side of the hall and checked her phone. Barry looked down feelings awful.
"Why did I do that?" He thought to himself. Iris then walked passed Caitlin-shoving her, and went to Barry.
"You've still got me." She muttered. Barry glared at Iris.
"No." He said straight forward and then walked away. Iris sighed and punched the wall. Mr. Jones looked at her weirdly and then gave the attendance list to the principal. Caitlin sat down and grabbed a notebook from her bag. She then started to write in it. Barry looked over at her and watched. What was she writing? Was she talking crap about Barry? Was she drawing? Barry wondered many things. His mind flustered. He then looked at Iris and then smirked.
Barry walked over to Iris.
"I need your help." He said to her with a whisper. Iris looked at Barry and smiled.
"I'll do anything!" She responded.
"Find out what she's writing." Barry ordered while looking at Caitlin. Iris smiled and nodded. She then walked over to Caitlin sneakily and stood at a distance so that Caitlin could not see her. Caitlin didn't notice Iris and continued to write. Barry could see Iris' eyes go wide as she read Caitlin's juicy information. Barry crossed his arms waiting.
Minutes later, Iris walked back to Barry and whispered what Caitlin had written. Barry widened his eyes and looked down. Caitlin then stood up and left the hallway. No tears shed from her face. No emotion showed except a smile to play the part. Barry watched her walk away and he sighed. Iris went to Barry.
"Hey, how are you going to pay me back for that?" She asked while crossing her arms. Barry just ignored Iris and walked away. Caitlin then walked to her locker. Nobody was around because they were all still in shock from what happened. She opened her locker and put her textbook back inside. Caitlin then closed her locker and saw Barrys standing right there. She flinched not expecting him to be standing right next to her locker, but he was. She sighed.
"Hi Barry," She mumbled. Barry nodded slowly.
"So, how's Oliver?" He asked. Caitlin stared at Barry.
"He's fine, he's a great friend." She replied softly. Barry nodded.
"Now, excuse me, I have places to be." Caitlin exclaimed before walking away. Barry followed and grabbed her arm. Caitlin slowly took her arm away and looked into Barry's eyes.
"I'm sorry that I keep yelling and being rude. I'm not normally like that...to you." Barry murmured.
Caitlin nodded slowly.
"It's fine." She responded.
Barry sighed. He then put his hand on Caitlin's shoulder and looked down. Caitlin looked at Barry feeling all of the guilt he has. She then smiled shortly and walked away. Barry looked at her and then looked down.
"Cait, I don't love you...I don't know you well enough yet..."
He spoke quickly. Caitlin stopped and turned to Barry confused.
"What are you talking about?" She questioned.
Barry gave a weird look.
"I saw you write it..." He responded.
Caitlin gave a confused look.
"Where? When?" She kept questioning.
"Well Iris-" Before Barry finished, he cut himself off and widened his eyes. Caitlin glared at Barry.
"Okay, I get it. You had Iris snoop, didn't you?" She questioned getting angry. Barry sighed but nodded. Caitlin looked down.
"I can't believe you. That wasn't even what I wrote in it!" She shouted. Barry squinted.
"Huh?" He murmured. Caitlin then went into her bag and grabbed out her little journal.
"I did not write that I love you, I wrote that we had a school shooting, you know people do tend to write when they are stressed. I chose to write considering of this uncommon situation." She explained in a truly disappointed tone. Barry bit his lip in guilt and stared at Caitlin.
"I-I'm sorry." He admitted. Caitlin shook her head.
"Just leave me alone, Barry. Don't talk to me." She spoke before walking off in disgust. Iris stood from a far and began laughing to herself. Barry teared up feeling hurt and looked at Iris.
"Shut up." He shouted. Iris quit her laughter and walked off.
Caitlin stormed out of the school feeling upset. Not only did Barry have Iris snoop her diary, but he actually thought that she loved him! They've never even kissed before! Caitlin then went to her car and ruffled through her purse to find her keys. All of a sudden she saw a hand block her from getting into her car. She sprung her head over quickly with a jump. Luckily it was only Barry, although Caitlin was not aware of that and she jumped into his arms in fear. Barry caught her before she fell over.
"Oh my god! Oh...It's just you..." Caitlin shouted but then calmed down. Barry sighed.
"Look, I'm sorry." He mumbled. Caitlin looked away.
"Forget it." She hollered. Barry sighed.
"I don't understand why you're so angry at me!" He shouted. Caitlin widened her eyes.
"Maybe it's the fact that you had Iris snoop my diary?! Then you actually believed her after how much she lied to you, and then the fact that you really thought I loved you." She ranted. Barry uncrossed his arms.
"We barely talk," Caitlin began. "We've never done anything. We don't really talk that much. Sure...you are attractive, and really sweet...but that doesn't mean that you get to snoop through my diary and expect things right awa-" Before she could continue on with her rant, Barry quickly pecked her lips with his. Caitlin widened her eyes and looked up into Barry's eyes. Moments had gone by and Caitlin finally jumped into Barry's arms, kissing him passionately. Barry caught her, kissing back and placed his other hand on her cheek deepening the kiss. Caitlin wrapped her arms around him smiling.
Their moment was taken away when Patty came out of the school. She saw Barry and Caitlin from a distance and her smiled faded instantly. To be cont.
