New Surpises

Barry grunted in pain and started to fight the man who attacked him. Caitlin looked at Henry and saw Rosie's mom.

"Henry, go with Rosie!" She exclaimed. Henry looked at Caitlin shaking his head but ran off to Rose anyways.

Caitlin then ran over to Barry and the man. She took a branch tree branch from the ground and smacked the guy against his back. The guy stood up getting off of Barry and looked at Caitlin. He then smirked and started walking to her. Caitlin revealed a look of fear as the man got closer. Barry then gave an angry glare and sped to the guy. He then punched him forcefully in the back making him fall to the ground.

"Who are you and what do you want?" He questioned. The man looked up at Barry.

"I want you dead, Allen." He answered in an angry tone. Caitlin squinted her eyes and stood next to Barry. The man looked at them.

"Awww...look at you two. Trying to be the hero's? That's not going to work out for you." He muttered while walking over. Barry put his arm in front of Caitlin to protect her. The man smirked and suddenly acid came pouring out of his hands. The grass burnt to a crisp, leaving Caitlin and Barry with widened eyes.

"Sorry, but not even you can outrun me." The man said chuckling. Barry forced a laugh.

"Try me." He threatened before speeding back and forth, getting everyone out of the park. The man grunted in anger and tried to catch up to Barry.

"Dammit, you're fast!" He exclaimed.

"He really is." Caitlin muttered from behind the man. He turned to her and immediately got punched in the face. Caitlin held her fist with her other hand in pain. She hit him hard. The man fell to the ground passed out. Barry then sped over to her and looked at the guy.

"Speed him to S.T.A.R Labs! Take him to the pipeline, he won't be able to escape that." Caitlin exclaimed. Barry nodded and sped off with the man. Caitlin took a deep breath and took out her phone to call Rosie's mother.

"Hey, I'm so sorry about that!" She spoke with her hand to her head. Rosie's mother was pacing in worry.

"Caitlin, I don't know what just happened, but I'm scared!" She shouted. Caitlin sighed.

"Something tells me it's not going to get any better. Where are you? I'll come by." She answered while ruffling her hair back. Rosie's mom sighed.

"I'm at Jitters." She replied starting to calm down. Caitlin nodded and hung up. She then began to walk down the sidewalk, fast walking. Barry sped back and walked to her. Caitlin looked at him.

"You're starting to get the hang of that." She said with a slight smile. Barry laughed.

"Yeah, It's not too hard. Where's Henry?" He responded. Caitlin continued walking.

"Jitters. Anne, Rosie's mother took them there." Caitlin answered getting worried again.

"I know that they are safe, but...if everyone is getting powers, this city is going to go to shit. I wont know how to protect Henry unless we move, but he loves it here." She began to rant. Barry sighed and held her hand.

"We don't go down easy. I have super speed now, I'm going to use it the right way. I promise, I will never let anyone touch Henry." He comforted. Caitlin looked at him and nodded as the two made their way into Jitters. Henry ran right over and jumped into Caitlin's arms. Caitlin picked him up hugging him tight. Barry sighed in relief and looked at Anne.

"Are you okay?!" Caitlin asked while rubbing Henry's back. Henry nodded.

"Are you hurt?" He asked. Caitlin shook her head while setting him down. She then bent down to her knees to level with him.
