Chapter Four

"Damn it!"

To put it simply Miwa hated being back at the Leaf Village, and she missed the comforts of her tiny shed. Yes she may have only had a small cardboard box bed that she built using many boxes, and her bath and sink was the same bucket, but at least she had a safe place. Well maybe not so safe but it was dry and warm not to mention.

And it was away from people.

Miwa was now currently trying to find a place to stay, she couldn't stay in someplace given to her. It made her feel uncomfortable. There wasn't a place where she could stay in the village so Miwa decided to sneak out the gates and set up a small camping area in the forest. Miwa didn't mind though the forest was always a second home to her anyways.

There was a few Jounin looking for her in the village so Miwa had to may her way to the gate by walking down the back streets and alleyways. As she was closing in on the gate area, she heard some voices and quickly hid in the shadowy alleyway behind a cluster of bins.

"So you haven't seen her?" Kakashi asks with a heavy sigh, he seemed stressed out. He was assigned to getting Miwa to the apartment the council was giving to her.

"Nope sorry Kakashi" the other Jounin replies causing Kakashi to sigh again.

"It's fine Asuma, where could she be?" He says as he walks away with Asuma heading further into the village.

Sensing her chance to run to the gate, Miwa rushed out the shadows and ran down the street and in and out of alleyways until she got to the gate walls. Miwa looks directly across from her to see the Shinobi's guarding the gate, they were sleeping. Miwa concealed her chakra and sidestepped until she was standing at the gate, she looked across and saw that the guards were still sleeping.

She silently slips out of the village and into the forest with her backpack. After around 10 minutes of roaming around until she finally came to the perfect spot for her to set up camp. She pulls out her sleeping bag and lays onto the ground, next she collected bits of twigs and a few stones to make a campfire.

Once she had everything finished and the small fire burning Miwa climbed into her sleeping bag, the night air was cold and she hoped that she could stay warm enough throughout the night. As she closes her eyes, her thoughts began to wonder.

Maybe I have found a home once again.

I wouldn't get your hopes up, kid.

Miwa awoke to birds chirping happily with one another, she smiled as she opened her eyes and sighed in content. She climbs out of her sleeping bag and rolls it up into her backpack, and she stomps out the embers from the fire the night before. Miwa reaches into her bag and takes out her purse, she counts her money.

'Hmm, maybe I have enough to get a few dango sticks and a green tea.'

'If you're lucky'

Taking a deep breath Miwa starts to walk back to the Hidden Leaf Village, when she gets to the gate Miwa finds Kakashi, Sakura and Sasuke standing by the gate watching her come in.

"What are you doing?" Kakashi asks as he stares down at Miwa in suspicion.

Miwa blinks at him and stares at him funny "Getting some grub" Miwa says as she tries to bypass him only to be stopped by Kakashi who looks down at her seriously.
