Chapter Twelve

He's gone, he actually left.

That was all that went through Miwa's head as she sat on her bed, Sasuke had actually left. He allowed his friends to get hurt, some of them nearly died on that mission. Neji, he....Miwa even struggled with the thought, Neji had nearly died and Sasuke caused all this havoc for what? Ah yes, he had become power hungry and apparently that is a good enough reason to betray his comrades. Her thoughts wondered to Naruto, she made sure to say with him up until he had woken up a few days ago.

Naruto had woken up, Miwa had herself sat out of his room while she overheard Kakashi and Sakura talking to him. He was talking on a loop, he couldn't stop talking about how he would keep his promise. His Sasuke speech eventually got too much for Miwa and she ended up getting up and leaving the hospital. Which brought us to now.

When she was walking back to her apartment, she couldn't help but admit how great Naruto's loyalty toward Sasuke. It was amazing and it made Miwa a little envious towards her brother, he had found someone who he could trust and care for, a best friend. Miwa did have Neji but even then, she has a feeling that she couldn't shake off, it felt like he would eventually leave her.

Miwa quickly slammed any idea of that down rather quickly when it popped up in her head, it was silly thinking. Neji and Miwa are so close, so it is the type of friendship were you have to be alive and be friends or be dead and be friends. That basically meant that there wasn't any backing out of their friendship. Miwa often thinks that she's paranoid when she feels like Neji will leave, she has moments where she is paranoid often.

Right now she has locked herself inside her apartment, ignoring anyone who comes by looking for her or to see how she was. They all call out to her they seem like they are worried about her, Neji mostly sounds piss off when she tries to get her out of her apartment. By the tone of his voice, if Miwa were to leave her apartment Neji would hunt her down and 8 trigrams: 64 palms her to death. She can say from experience that it isn't the most painless way to die - from sparring with him.

Since Sasuke left it hasn't stopped raining, all day and all night, it was almost as if the weather know the shadow that's been cast over Konohagakure. One of their own has betrayed them, once again it was a descendant from the Uchiha Clan. Miwa was glad that it was only a selected few know about her, otherwise she would have to face even more hate and distrust than she already gets.

Hearing about Sasuke only added onto her paranoia, she was terrified by what Sasuke would have seen when he looked at her. He saw her Sharingan and he just turned away and left, he saw her eyes, She watched as he stared deeply into her eyes.

What could he be thinking? Does he still not remember that he has a twin sister? If he does then why did he leave her? There was a million to on different reasons as to why he didn't question her eyes but all Miwa could think of were the useless and idiotic reasons. Hence why she was locking up in her apartment ignoring the world around her.

"Yah! Miwa, you in there?" Miwa could hear Naruto shouting down the apartment complex as he banged on her door, Miwa ignored him and pulled her legs closer up to her chest, rewrapping her arms around them, resting her chin on top of her knees.

"Naruto! Come on it's not worth it, even Neji can't get through to her" Miwa heard Sakura's voice coming from her door, she could also imagine Neji standing with them as he crossed his arms in a huff.

"Sakura, I don't understand what's wrong with her!?"

"Neither do we, Let's just leave her alone for now" Miwa frowned at Sakura's sentence, there was more of them standing outside her door.
