Miwa (under slow editing and slight reconstruction)

Chapter Forty-Eight

Many, Many, Many months ago before Naruto returned...

"Neji-chan! What are you doing!" Miwa giggled as Neji put her forehead protector around her eyes, blocking her sight. Neji smiled down at the girl and kissed her nose, leading to Miwa wiggling it, he laughed at her cuteness.

"It's a surprise!" He expressed mysteriously in a deep voice causing Miwa into a fit of giggles, Neji's smile widens as he watches her laughing so happily and smiling so freely.

"Neji-chan! You know that I don't like surprises or not seeing your cute face! This is torture!" Miwa tried to groan through her giggles, Neji wrapped his arm around her waist and pulled her to him as he helped her walk out the compound.

"Do for me?" He asks, Miwa was silent for a moment as she fought an inner battle with herself before she gave in. Neji smiled as he realised he had won and gave the thumbs up to the group of people behind him holding boxes of things, seeing the signal they all set off to work.

"Where are we going?" Miwa asked Neji curiously, Neji looked down at Miwa as the gate closed behind them and smiled softly.

"Somewhere you'll love!" He whispered in her ear as he leaned down so he could reach her ear, Miwa turned bright red and her ear tips turned a hot pink colour.

"W-Well what are we waiting for! Onward March!" Miwa stammered as she blindly walked forward into a pole "It's not funny Neji-chan! Help me!" Miwa cried when she heard Neji burst out laughing.

"Neji~!" Miwa cried as she held her forehead, Neji still laughing walked over to Miwa and helped her up onto her feet.

"Sorry Miwa" Neji tells her softly after he stopped laughing, Miwa looked up at him an frowned but suddenly turned red when Neji kissed the red patch on her forehead "Lets go and have that date" Neji yells sounding excited as he gave me a piggy back before he began to sprint down the street.

"A DATE!?"

Present

It seemed like dark times for Miwa's (unofficial) family, the only people allowed in and out of her room was her nurse Nana, Daichi and Inoichi Yamanaka. Who was shocked to see her as he walked into his next patients room.

The Hokage hadn't told him who his newest patient was or why he had to visit the hospital to see them. He'd never thought in a million years that it was Miwa.

He wasn't told about her memory loss, Tsunade hadn't told him. All he was told was to write a report and send it directly to her, it was to see if there was anything Tsunade could actually do anything to help.

Despite her grudge against Miwa, Tsunade was a medic and a medics patients always come first. That and she had a nagging feeling that Hiashi might plan something similar to what the Uchiha were going to do or something dramatic, and she couldn't be bothered with that head ache so she had to see to Miwa's injuries and memory.

Tsunade did eventually find herself examining Miwa, other than the obvious trauma she had gone through and the severe internal bruising that could be treated slowly but effectively. The memory loss however Tsunade had no cure for that, she could put Miwa through some memory loss treatments but they aren't promising. Miwa's memory would come back itself, Tsunade just didn't know when or what might trigger it to come back.

After receiving the Hokage's report was a surprise to Hiashi but the contents inside it was hard for him to take. It truly was up to Miwa to remember, though Hiashi felt that Miwa might not want them back.
