Cade gave me a tour of camp, telling me what each thing is for.  Ever sense the end of a titan war, many cabins has been built.  There was not one for Gaea, because she was not welcome.  I shrugged that off and he introduced me to the Demeter cabin, which is where I would stay. They seemed happy to have another sibling, but quickly got over it and got back to growing plants.  The plants were perfectly taken care of, but they were focused on it way too much.  I would rather watch grass grow, never mind, it was the same thing.

I easily left the cabin without any distractions.  No one noticed that I went right to the forest were there are “monsters” everywhere.  I climbed a tree when I got deep enough into the forest.  I got to the top and settled one of the top branches.  “No one is ever going to fall for it,” I kicked my foot out as I said, ”Why should I even try?”  The force from my kick dragged me off the branch and I fell in front of a boy and a girl that stopped dead in their tracks.

The boy had pitch black hair and lime green eyes.

“HOLY HERA!  Who are you?” the girl asked, clearly surprised of my sudden appearance.  I guess that I couldn’t blame her, it isn’t every day that someone falls from a tree right in front of you.

I got up and brushed the dirt off as I said, “Floret, daughter of…” I couldn’t say it.  I was tired of lieing so I let myself tell the truth for once.  “I can’t lie right now.”

“Okay… I’m Alice, but most people call me Rain.  I’m a daughter of Iris,” Alice cringed, expecting me to laugh or make a joke.

I rubbed my hair, making sure that I didn’t have any dirt in my hair.  While I was touching one part of the back of my head, I felt a bump. It hurt so much that I was surprised that it was small enough to fit in that one section.

“I’m Alex.  I don’t really want to say who my godly parent is, if you don’t mind,” he seemed uncomfortable, getting ready for me to start asking a lot of questions.  Good thing, because that was exactly what I was planning to do.

“Ha, can’t be as bad as mine,” I laughed.  It was probably Hades, but Gaea is hated a lot more than he is.

“Actually, mine’s probably worse,” he confidently stated.  It hit me.  He thinks that he has the worst parent there is.  He had black hair, green eyes, just like me and just like Gaea.  Is it possible that he is my brother?

“Sure it is,” I roll my eyes, thinking of ways to find out if he was my brother.

“I’m dead serious,” he stared at me directly in the eyes, making me feel like everything was going in slow motion.

I knew the one clue that could help me figure it out.  “Sure, just tell me.  God or goddess?”

“Like I said, I don’t want to say,” he seemed to be getting extremely defensive, but I knew that it was out of the fear of denial.  I was very aware of what that could feel like.

“Fine,” I gave in.  I would figure it out later, but I could just feel denial seeping deeper into my skin.  “If you don’t want to know if I’m your sister or not,” I mumble, not caring if he heard or not.
