Most Depressing Movie Trailer Ever

I was somewhere else, in some hallway of a school.  I observed everything that I could see.  I was not able to turn my head, like I was watching a 3D movie.  A bunch of girls came running toward me.  All of the girls had makeup caked to their face and their hair was styled professionally.  I tried to get out of the way, but they took up the whole hall, rushing past me.  They were probably told that one direction was in the cafeteria or something like that.

Then a lion snake thing snatched me, I tried to move, but I couldn’t.  It wasn’t because I was that terrified, it was because I had no control over what I did.  A boy comes out and saves me.  When I was told to follow, I ran away from him.

The scene shifted more into the future.

“You look more like a brother to me,” a voice said, coming from my mouth.

“That’s because I am,” the boy that saved me stated.

The scene shifted again, showing more events like a movie trailer.

A note covered my vision.  I only could read two lines.  “They are living a wonderful life without you and so am I.” “You don’t have to stand that annoying little brat…”

The note was too blurry for me to read, like tears were covering it up.

The scene shifted forward and I was getting out of a car.  What did I do to deserve this? I heard in my head.  I have no idea what I did, and I also have no idea what I had gotten.

I woke up when the sun touched my face.  I sat up in bed as a thought entered my mind, That was the least violent way that I was awakened all week! I thought to myself.  I quickly went through my bag that I had on the side of the flower bed.  I took out my poetry book and read the title of the last poem.  It had been about a week since I was taken out of my normal life.  So far, this past week had been the best one that I have ever had!

“What is that?” I heard a voice ask behind me.  I glanced over my shoulder to see Alex looking at the book in my hands curiously.

“Oh, it is a poetry book.  Nothing much,” I put it in my bag, trying not to attract any more attention to the book.

“Where did that bag come from?” he questioned.

Wow, I am not helping my case.  “I had it the whole time, I guess that you didn’t notice,” I shrugged.

“No, you didn’t, I think that I would have remembered what happened to that bag when you fell out of the tree,” he pointed out.

“Um,” I paused.  “I have no idea what to tell you then.”

“What about the truth?” He got off his flower bed and sat by me.

“What is the fun in that?” I joked.

“Getting things off your chest?” he offered.

Rain got up and saw us sitting by each other.  “I ship it!” she exclaimed.

“Do you have any idea what that means?” I asked Alex.

“No.”

“Good,” I whispered to myself.
