He Gotz the Hots!

I woke up in bed, screaming my head off.  I was really glad that it was about noon, everyone else was at breakfast or doing whatever they had to do so no one was there to hear me.  Some people might feel left out when everyone leaves them in a room without waking them up, but I didn’t care because there was nothing for me to miss out on except for perfectly grow plants and eat cereal from the dispensers on the wall.

I took a deep breath and stretched out, taking up the whole bed.  I heard footsteps pounding on the steps and saw Alex come up, scanning the room until his eyes landed on me.

“What happened?” he asked, walking over to me.

“Oh you know, waking up after you just died in a dream,” I shrugged.  “It was an interactive dream so it won’t happen like that in real life.”

“Oh, how did you die?”

“James stabbing my back after I wouldn’t respond to his other cuts,” my hand went instinctively to my back to make sure that it was alright.  I didn’t feel anything on my back and calmed down.  “Do you know of any way to contact someone?”

“Yeah, there is an iris message thing.  You make a rainbow and throw a golden damachra in it and say the name of the person that you want to see, and they will appear in a rainbow thing.”

“Oh, I have got to go!” I rushed to put my shoes on and flew to the stairs.  “Thank you!” I yelled over my shoulder as I flew the rest of the way out of the cabin.

I used my shoes to fly to the creek that was running through an open field.  I took a weird golden coin off the ground and did what he said I had to do to make an iris message.  A window appeared I saw Apricot and James getting ready to play on an xbox.  They were in a wooden place with bare walls.  My instincts told me that it was an Oak tree and was not naturally like that, but still alive.

“James, I don’t want to play anymore,” Apricot whined.

“Are you kidding me?!?  I just got it and you don’t want to play anymore?” he sounded like the stereotypical parent.

“Yuppers,” Apricot answered, ignoring his rage.

“I have no idea how to play, but I just know that I can beat James,” I glared at James, hating him for ruining my beautiful sleep.

“Who are you?  Apricot, who are you talking too?” James turned around, surprised to see me.

“Floret?  Daughter of Gaea?  Ring a bell?” I felt like I was talking to a little kid.  He killed me this morning and he doesn’t even remember me?

“Oh yeah, join our side!  The winning side,” he commanded dramatically.  He said it as if he had been practicing it in the mirror of a few hours.

“I slowed you down a while ago by trapping you,” I reminded him, trying to make him realize that I had tricked him before.  I also didn’t know how to respond to his command.
