I sat in my bed and stared out of the window that was on the wall by my bed. My poetry book was wide open in front of me, untouched except for the title. Writers block was with me and didn’t seem to want to leave. I took a deep breath and thought over my day. I looked back at my book, lightly glowing because it started to get darker. Taking my pen out of my pocket, I started writing when creativity made a short visit with me.
Day Seven
By the end of the war
I will probably lose my mind.
My new friend is now in danger
because James came from behind.
I can’t figure out where she is
and it makes me feel blind.
Now she is trapped
by some evil mastermind.
If I am to save her from him,
I will have to hurt my own kind.
I unclicked my pen and lazily tossed it to my bag. I heard it hit the floor so that answers the question, it is quiet enough to hear a pen hit the ground. When my book was safely in my pillow case, I turned onto my side and started sleeping soundly. Actually, I have no idea if I slept soundly because I couldn’t see myself while I was sleeping.

I was back in the cave that I was in in my last dream. The same funky flowers were on the walls, the same rocky floor was there. I laid on the floor, tired of this place already.
“Nice to see you again,” James smiled, coming out of the shadows.
“Nice to see you too, how are you today?” I played along.
“I am just a murderous today, how about you?”
“I am a little tired because lately, my dreams have been filled with people wanting me to be dead,” I shrugged.
“What a coincidence, this is another one of those dreams!” he took a blade out of his back pocket and started walking towards me.
“I thought that you wanted me to hand Rain too you,” I snapped like a little girl. He kneeled down to me and started bringing his blade to me.
“If you are dead, then I can just take her to Hades,” he smirked, thinking of the award that he will be given.
I didn’t flinch when the blade sliced my shoulder. “You do realize that if Rain is still out there, then Hades will be distracted and then it would be easy to take him down when he doesn’t expect it.”
“It isn’t my job to think of the plan, that is Gaea’s plan,” he told me, running his blade down my arm. I gritted my teeth, not letting him see that it hurt.
“How is Apricot?” I wondered.
“Oh, she is fine for now. She is a little annoying, but she seems to be cracking.”
“What do you mean by cracking?” I asked.
“I mean, she seems to like the idea of Gaea’s side. She is just about as powerful as you so if she joins, we will be sure to win.”
“Sure you will,” I rolled my eyes, restraining from yelping when the blade started going over my shoulder blades.
“Really. It is either her or you. If you were really her friend, you would join our side so she would stay on the gods side so then she won’t be on the dangerous side,” he smirked.
“You bet it is dangerous, because that side is against the gods who are clearly going to win,” I growled. “I think that she can handle the temptations, she is mentally stronger than me so she can take it,” I was confident in her.
Overwhelming pain went to my back then everything went black. “That jerk just killed me!” was my last thought.
