“Gah!” I screeched, afraid that Apricot would knock a lamp off of the nightstand. It was a really pretty lamp because it was green and shiny.
“APRICOT!” Annie exclaimed, shocked to see her best friend alive that was dead just a few moments ago.
“Not so loud!” she requests.
“You scared me more then I scare myself,” I whispered loudly.
“Sorry,” Annie apologized to Apricot.
“Okay? Well, I have to leave as soon as possible,” she rushed like she was late to a class.
“Okay,” I gestured to the door. I didn’t see why people would say that and not go anywhere. “Leave,” I simply stated.
“Woah! You aren’t in any condition to run off Apricot!” Annie insisted. I would be offended because I felt like she just doubted my healing abilities, but she had a right to.
“Why? I feel fine!” Apricot protested.
Exactly, because I was here, I thought to myself.
“You just died!” Annie pointed out.
“Giver her a break! Her best friend just died!” I tried to help Annie. I saw how torn she was when she thought that Apricot died, I knew that she wouldn’t let Apricot slip out of her fingers that easily.
“Ugh! I will stay today. As soon as tomorrow’s sun hits, I’m out,” Apricot caved in.
“Yay,” I cheered.
“Okay. Not saying I’m that upset that you are alive, but how did you come back?” Annie wondered.
“Well, it’s a long story…” Apricot said. Sage came running through the door, basically tackling Apricot in a hug. I knew that they would become a ship.
“Are you okay?” he wondered.
Conceal don’t feel, don’t let them know, I told my inner fangirl. This is going to slow, I’m going to help it sail, my inner fangirl protested. “Just kiss her already,” I muttered just to please the fangirl that wanted to smash their heads together.
“Aww, how cute! Yes! I agree with Floret!” Annie fangirled.
My inner fangirl was trying to do the math of the ship name. I took a piece of paper out and started writing all the possible ship names.
“Guys, really? I might be a daughter of Ap-“ she stopped herself. “Never mind.”
“See? It happens,” I pointed out. I think that I have permission to accidently slip up on things if she can.
“KISS HER!” Annie shouted at Sage. She crossed his arms because all he did was stare at her like he didn’t understand. “Pleeeeease!” Annie begged.
Sage still just froze in his same place. Annie wasn’t getting her way by herself. “Please!” I added.
“If you say so…” he was very hesitant. I was sure that he just wanted to do it anyway because he never took orders from me. Most people say that if someone saves your life that you are their slave until you save theirs or are released from your services. Now that I think about it, I did save his life when I made that flower bed for him to land on. But even if I didn’t save his life, I wouldn’t treat him any different.
“Yes!” Annie shouted in victory.
“You’re welcome Apricot, you don’t have to return the favor,” I reminded her. I knew that she would probably do it some time.
Apricot was about to say something, but was interrupted by Sage’s lips. I felt like a great ship maker.
“WHOO!” Annie cheered.
When they pulled apart, I decided to make sure that Apricot understood that I was repaying her the favor. “You already done enough for Lorex.”
Apricot glared at us, but she looked too happy to do it properly. “Come on Sage. I have something important to tell you,” she said as she started to drag him out.
“The feels!” I squealed.
“So cute!” Annie joined in.
“You guys are unbelievable!” Apricot complained.
“Thanks!!! You love us!” she reminded Apricot.
I got a great idea from my fangirl and evilly glanced at Annie. “And that leaves one more ship to leave the port…”
