"they really shouldn't be saying those things. and, i'm sorry on their behalf." i sighed.
"it's okay. i-im use-ed to it-t." he breathed out.
"you shouldn't be. you seem like a really nice guy. why do people treat you like that?" i frowned.
he shrugged. "i d-don't really k-know."
more tears escaped from his eyes.
"hey, no no, don't cry." i was surprised by my own words. since when do i act like this? it's been a long time since- nevermind.
he didn't stop crying. he inched father away from me. i soon did something i never thought i would.
i grabbed his arms and turned him around so he was facing me and i hugged him. he tried to get away but i held him there until he gave up.
i sank to the floor, feeling his legs almost give out, still holding onto him. i rocked him back and forth, trying to get him to calm down. some sudden protective force came over me. i accepted the feeling, not minding it at all.
i looked down to see jimin with his thumb in his mouth but i didn't question it. i kept my mouth shut.
"feeling okay now?" i pulled back so i could look at him. he stopped crying. he nodded and i slightly smiled.
"good, and, hey, i have most of my clases with you. tell me if they do anything to you. i'll stop it if i see it. i promise." i stuck out my pinkie finger. i already knew exactly what was going on. any other person would have minded but for some reason, i didn't.
jimin twisted his pinkie with mine and he shyly smiled. we stood up.
"i'll protect you." i told him. he looked at me with a different look i'd never seen. i couldn't decipher it.
he nodded and ran off before i could say anything further. i fixed my hair in the mirror and sighed heavily. i only felt worse for him now.
why? you ask?
because jimin's a little.
