"daddy! daddy!" jiya cheered, followed by jimin who jumped onto the bed. i groaned, not yet realizing what day it is.
"what is it, sweethearts?" i forced a smile as i peeled my eyes open. neither of them answered so i just stared up at jimin. his blonde hair was done up nicely and there was a tint of glitter on his eyelids.
"oh! i forgot oh my god." i laughed and jimin laid down on top of me.
"i figured that i would let you sleep in a little bit later than you asked. you looked so peaceful."
i hummed, closing my eyes again, "what time is it?"
"6:17." jiya said.
"we have time," i wrapped my arms around jimin's waist, "let's just sleep for another hour."
"but people are going to be arriving in a few minutes. your mom is already here."
"she is-!?" my eyes snapped open. jimin rolled off of me, laughing. jiya sat on the floor, playing with some of her toys.
"you look nice," i mentioned, kissing jimin's forehead before going into the bathroom.
"you, too." he snickered. i looked at myself in the mirror. my black hair was messy- sticking up in all directions.
"gee, thanks." i rolled my eyes. jimin slapped my butt, making me jump.
"i'm going to take jiya to your mom and then i'll be back. please be at least halfway dressed?" jimin raised an eyebrow.
"i know, i know. i will be." i kissed him one more time and he returned to take jiya to chaerin and my mother.
i stripped down and stepped into the shower. it was cold but i held myself back from changing the temperature. cold water would wake me up better.
my whole body seemed to shake in anxiety as the throught grew in my mind. i was getting married today. something i never thought would happen- especially not in korea. but, i was marrying jimin. that calmed me.
my mom invited my dad. i'd met him once before, seeing that he now lives in taiwan, but i don't know if he'll actually come.
i hopped out of the shower and threw on my pants just as jimin was re-entering the room.
"i'm nervous, yoongi." jimin sighed and sat on the edge of the bed, "i know there's not many people coming but- but that's not the scary p-part. what is everyone else gonna t-t-think of us?"
i noticed his stutter had made a reappearance. i put on my undershirt and sat down next to him. i placed my arm around his shoulders, pulling him close. he smelled like strawberries.
"don't worry, jim. we've gone this far. what's this going to change the way people see us? their opinions don't and have never mattered." i rubbed his back softly.
he nodded, looking down.
"look at me for a second," i pulled his chin up, "i love you and that's all that matters, okay?"
he hummed and i softly connected our lips, making him smile. he kissed my nose.
"what did i do to deserve you?" he wondered.
"you threw papers at me, that's what." i chuckled. he playfully hit my arm, "but, really, jim. don't ever ask yourself that. you're the most amazing boy i've ever met."
he giggled, "do you need help fixing your bowtie?" it was currently just hanging around my neck. i nodded shamefully.
he quickly did up my tie and left when chaerin began calling for him. it was time for the both of us to get ready for the ceremony. it was going to be small, but we both liked it.
after maybe thirty minutes, taehyung and jungkook busted into the room. they grabbed me and pulled me out without saying anything.
they pushed me into the room where everyone was sitting in the black chairs jimin's grandma picked out. jiya sat in one of the back seats. she smiled and waved eagerly at me.
taehyung and jungkook directed me to stand in one spot. taehyung sat behind me while jungkook ran to the other side. namjoon stood behind taehyung and jin behind jungkook.
after what seemed like hours, everyone was seated. things began to go in slow motion. chaerin lead jimin down the small asile. he looked absolutely stunning, much like every day.
he stood in front of me, taking my hands. i did as i was supposed to, said what i needed and soon came to our vows.
jiya ran up to us, holding the little rings. she smiled and hugged the both of us before returning to taehyung's arms.
i was directed to begin. i took in a long breath, looking deep into his eyes.
"i knew i was going to marry you from the moment i met you, jimin. there was just something about you. the way you stuck out from everyone- but in your own special way. maybe we came together under slightly unfortunate circumstances but i couldn't be more greatful for those bastards. i would have made this thing an hour long if i could but chaerin told me to keep it short." i and the crowd chuckled, "i know you already know this but i've always promised that i would love you, and care for you, and protect you no matter what happened or how fussy you were being. you know that you and jiya are the best things that have ever happened to me. jimin, you pulled me through times when i just wanted to end it all. you say there with me for days on end while doctors stuck me with needles and it was just endless pain. yet, you didn't care. i admire you so much and love you more than you'll ever know." a few tears ran down jimin's cheeks.
"goddamnit, yoongi." he laughed. i wipped away the tears on his cheeks and then took his hands again.
"before i begin, i just wanted to say that, yoongi, i told you i'd be your family- all those years ago, i knew i'd keep to my promise- and now, i couldn't manage to write even another sentence without crying so i ended up telling myself to tell you the most pathetic joke ever." he laughed nervously.
"and that is?" i raised my eyebrows.
"kyle simmons." (A/N: Kyle I'm sorry I love you but I had to).
i laughed and instantly pulled him in. i could feel his tears on my cheeks. ah, kyle. dead now- but probably the reason jimin and i are together in the first place.
everyone hollared and cheered.
bags of dry rice were dumped atop our heads by none other than taehyung and jungkook.
"i thought you were supposed to throw it?" jimin laughed.
"this is a gay wedding. you arent supposed to do things traditionally."
"agreed." jungkook brushed some of the rice off of jimin's shoulders and the music began to play. my heart skipped a few beats when i heard what was playing. fuck. jimin would always sing me this when i was sick or not in a happy mood.
we walked down the aisle together as everyone cheered and clapped. my face turned red. once the doors closed behind us, i grabbed jimin, picking him up and spinning around. he wrapped his legs around my waist.
"i love you." he leaned his head against mine. i was about to answer when i saw two familiar figures walk through the doorway.
jimin's jaw dropped and he grabbed onto me out of surprise and fear.
it was his parents.
