Jin sat on the edge of his bed, sweating bullets, as Krystal leaned up against the headboard and nervously watched him. She didn't think by requested to stay the night would put them both in such a horribly awkward situation. "Can we really?" Jin asked suddenly breaking the silence.
Krystal nervously pulled the blanket up her body as she slowly nodded in answer. She had never been so scared in her life. Seeing her confirmation, Jin quickly jumped so his body was hovering over hers. Krystal squeezed her eyes shut tightly and Jin instantly froze. He watched silently as Krystal seemed to force herself to try and calm herself. "No. You're shaking and you're all pale." He said feeling bad for scaring her.
"I can do it." Krystal tried to reassure him, but her voice came out shaky and quiet. She still had her eyes shut, scared she would lose the little calm she had mustered if she opened them.
Jin bit his lip. "Why, Krystal? I don't understand. Is this another memory you're anxious to create." He asked.
Krystal opened her eyes and looked deeply into Jin's. "I'm very willing."
No matter how much she tried to hide it, Jin could feel something was wrong. She seemed too determined, and it confused him. "Stop it."
Krystal didn't understand why none of her reassurances was working on him. "Don't you want to be with me?" She asked sadly.
Jin was starting to feel his self control failing as he looked at the sadness in Krystal's eyes. He opened his mouth to speak, but quickly shut it again. He wanted to give her what she wanted so bad, but his instincts were telling him it was wrong. He gripped the covers in his fists as the feeling he was experiencing started to frustrat him. Finally he pulled himself off her and sat beside her. "I..."
His anxiety was reaching it's peak as she sat and watched him. He felt like the walls were starting to close in on him. He escaped to the only place he could; the bathroom. He rushed inside and slammed the door closed behind him. Leaving Krystal behind looking sadder than ever.
Once inside he leaned up against the door ans tried to control his breathing. He went over to the sink and turned on the cold water. He splashed it on his face, trying in vain to cool himself off. He looked at his reflection in the mirror. I'm healthy. Physically capable. My whole body is about to explode. Of course I want to. Making up his mind, he turned off the water and took a deep breath.
Lonna's POV
Suga was fighting sleep as he listened to Lonna talk about her worries for Krystal and Jin. "Nothing to worry about." He said before finally shutting his eyes.
Lonna looked down at him as she continued to play with his hair. Suga seems exhausted. We...are really very tired. The one feeling he hasn't dealt with yet...is his abandonment issue. These things differ with each person. Besides, the fact he can rely on me like this, makes me really happy. Lonna thought as she watched him sleep soundly.
Krystal's POV
Hearing the door finally open, her eyes nervously followed Jin as he made his way back to the bed. His breathing was heavy as he slumped down on the foot of the bed. Krystal slid her way down beside him and laid her head on his shoulder. "Jin...you're a good guy." She said.
"Shush. Good guy, my ass." He said making Krystal giggle.
Their moment was interrupted by Krystal's phone ringing. She grabbed her bag and opened it. Once she saw her father's number, she rejected the call and quickly turned it off.
Her father tried his best not to jump to any conclusions, as he typed the number again. "The number you have called is not in service. Please try again later." After hearing the message, he didn't know how to feel. He closed his flip phone back and sat in the chair, he decided to wait for Krystal's return.
"Not going home. Staying out all night. Will it be ok?" Jin asked. He could see the guilt on Krystal's face as she tried avoid his gaze. His concern only got worse. "Krystal, what's wrong? Let's talk about it. We can solve it together."
She leaned back to Jin. "My problem is really big. My problem is..." She could see the concern in his eyes and it made her feel horrible. "My boyfriend is totally not interested in me!" She lied.
Jin was worried that her screaming would make the neighbors angry, so he quickly used his hand to cover her mouth. In his attempt, he had pushed her back on the bed. "Stop that!" He said looking down at her.
Once he was sure she would be quiet, he slowly moved his hand. "I must not be sexy enough. Not appealing." She said.
Seeing she was about to say more, Jin stuck his pointer finger to her lips. "Shhh." He said quieting her once more. "You listen up." He whispered. "Good guys have urges, too. So don't seduce me. If you keep up, I'll..." He slowly started to move his lips towards hers, but feeling her tense up under him, made him stop. He was beyond frustrated by this point. "It's late. Go to sleep."
He was angry with himself as he rolled off of her and laid down beside her. Seeing the disappointed look on his face, Krystal attempted to lighten the mood. "Tell me a bedtime story." She requested.
"I don't know how to tell a story." Jin said confused.
"Then go straight to the ending." Krystal said. "Snow white and the Prince, what happens in the end?"
Jin wasn't sure why she was acting this way, but he found it hard to refuse her. Krystal happily laid her head on his shoulder as he started to tell the story. "After the prince rescued Snow white, they lived happily ever after."
Krystal was just wanting to hear his voice. Part of her wanted to memorize it. "What about...Sleeping beauty?" She asked half asleep.
"The prince kissed Sleeping beauty awake. Then, they lived happily ever after." He told her.
"Cinderella?" Krystal mumbled as sleep started to drag her under.
Jin lowered his voice to a whisper. "Prince found Cinderella, then they lived happily ever after."
Jin smiled as he heard the girl beside him breathing slowly. He slowly got up out of the bed, being careful not to wake her up. He pulled the cover up over her after straightening her out in the bed. He sunk down on the floor beside the mattress and watched Krystal cutely mumble something in her sleep. Unable to stop himself, he leaned up and placed a gentle peck on her forehead.
Jin got up and quietly turned off the light, before carefully sitting on the edge of the bed and watching over Krystal as she slept peacefully.
Pamela's POV
"Did the kids really say that?" Pamela asked Mr. Min as they sat in her hospital room talking.
Mr. Min walked over and sat beside her. "They...support us marrying."
"What I'm most concerned about is your mother." Pamela confessed. "How do we tell her? Lonna and Yoongi, can they really be together?"
"They can." Mr. Min said confidently. "Let's pray for them."
Pamela nodded her head before turning away and pulling her hands up to pray. Looking ahead, she froze. Standing before her, was none other than Suga's grandmother herself. Pamela felt her heart race in fear of the stern look on her face.
