Keun-suk didn’t even say good bye before running out of the house. He walked quickly down the sidewalk with the address to Suga’s warehouse clutched tightly in his hand. “Hey!” Suga had ran out of the house after him. Despite being in a hurry, Keun-suk stopped and let him catch up to him. “Keun-suk.” Suga said to make him turn and face him.
Keun-suk laughed lightly. “This is unusual. It’s the first time I have hear you use my name.”
Suga ran his tongue along the inside of his cheek as he rolled his eyes. “Why’d you leave without saying a word?”
“No reason. I’m just really late. My girlfriend’s probably anxious.” He said smiling.
Suga stepped closer to him. “If you…really have a girlfriend.” Suga teased him.
“Hold on. What’s this? Do you think I’m not marketable?” Keun-suk asked.
Suga laughed. “You’re too marketable. You caused me…a lot of grief.” As Keun-suk laughed, Suga reached into his jacket pocket and pulled out Lonna’s diary and held it out to him. Keun-suk stopped laughing as soon as he realized what it was. “This is for you.” Suga said.
Keun-suk slowly took it from him. “This is what I gave to Lonna.”
Suga smiled. “Filled with memories of you. I think…you’re most qualified to have it.”
Keun-suk laughed loudly before smirking. “More like you don’t want Lonna to have it.” Suga’s eyes went wide as he couldn’t believe he had read him so easily. “Kind of childish.” Keun-suk teased.
“So what if it is?” Suga asked as he placed his arms across his chest. “You’re very devious. Truth was, you wanted to steal her from me.”
“So?” Keun-suk raised one of his eye brows.
“So, I wanted to pummel you. So?” Suga said.
Keun-suk smiled slightly before giving Suga a serious look. “You listen up. When Teacher left Lonna with me, he expected me to take good care of her. During all these years, I believe I’ve lived up to his expectations. But now, I’m giving her to the person of her choosing; the person of her liking. Don’t disappoint me…or I will really pummel you.”
Suga smiled. “You really like to preach. Didn’t you have a date? Hang around, and your girl might dump you.” Keun-suk laughed as he used the diary to tap Suga lightly on the shoulder. He winked at him before turning to rush down the sidewalk once more. As Suga watched him leave, Keun-suk held the diary up in the air and waved it side to side. Suga laughed at this last bit of teasing.
Before going to the warehouse, Keun-suk decided to look for Jangmi at the café she owned. He ran up to the counter. “Excuse me, can I see your boss?” He asked the man. His heart leaped in his throat as the man turned to his co-worker and asked her where the boss was.
“She took time off.” She said.
Keun-suk hadn’t even thought she would think of taking off work to avoid him. He frowned as the realization of how hard getting her to see him was going to be. “Thank you.” He walked with his head hung in sadness as he left the café, trying his hardest to think of what she wanted him to do.
Lonna’s POV
After Suga had come back in the house, he had gone and grabbed the cake. Once he placed it on the coffee table in front of Lonna, he re-lit the candles and told her to make another wish. No matter how much she tried to protest he kept bugging her.
Wanting him to stop hounding her, she leaned closely to the cake and repeated what she did at the table, with closing her eyes and placing her hands in front of her lips. When Suga saw her eyes were closed, he slowly put some frosting on one of his fingers. He carefully moved his finger towards her nose.
