Jin stopped walking and investigated the back of the familiar car. There he found Suga slumped over and unconscious. Looking ahead, he saw RM start to walk back into the building. “RM!” He screamed out to him.
RM had brought Jin to a part of the school where not many people went. “What happened to Suga?” Jin asked.
“His fever worsened, so I called his home to have them pick him up.” Jin reached in his pocket and pulled out his cellphone.
“We have to tell Lonna.”
RM grabbed his hand quickly to prevent him from being able to use the phone. “Don’t! Suga will be pissed.”
“Even sick, he acts tough?” JIn questioned.
“He doesn’t like people to see him weak.”
“Even people he likes?” RM started to think about the things Suga said to him during their fight. “Nobody is always strong.” JIn tried to persuade him to let him tell Lonna. RM finally let go of his hand and bit his lip before shaking his head to tell Jin to dial the number.
Suga’s POV
Suga laid in his bed. His head hurt, and the fever wasn’t going down with sleep alone. As he tried to fall asleep again, the doorbell started ringing. First it was once, then whoever it was wasn’t going to allow him to ignore them, as they rang it continually. “Annoying. Who is it?” He screamed. No one came in, they just continued to press the doorbell. Suga groaned angrily as he shoved the blankets off him and went to open the door.
Suga ruffled his messy blonde hair with his hands as he opened the door. His eyes rolled back in annoyance as Lonna shoved her way into the house. “RM has a big mouth.”
“How high did it get?” Lonna asked. She was all business and trying to show Suga he couldn’t get rid of her, even he wanted to. It annoyed him further.
“Didn’t take it, forgot.”
“Didn’t take it or forgot?” Lonna continued to bug him.
“98.6 degrees. Annoying.”
“Did you take your medicine?” Suga let out a overexaggerated sigh.
“More annoying than my dad.”
“Did you take it?” Lonna asked in a firm voice.
“No.” Suga answered truthfully to stop her from asking anymore questions.
“Then go lie down.” Lonna said as she turned Suga around and forcefully led him back to his room. “How old are you, still don’t know how to take care of yourself.”
After getting him to his bed, Lonna went and got a wet towel to lay on his forehead. She sat in the chair beside his bed and played with the package of medicine she had found laying on his nightstand. Suga did as she said and put the thermometer under his arm. He could tell by the way she was acting, she was mad. “Why are you angry?”
Lonna ignored his question as she slammed the medicine down on the table again. “Let me see your temperature.” She tried to make her voice soft, but the frustration was still evident.
“You don’t need to. It’s going down.” Suga couldn’t help but hate the fact she was trying to boss him around.
“Let me see!” Lonna yelled. Suga knew then there was no beating her. She was determined to take care of him and he would just have to let her. He grabbed the thermometer out from under his arm and handed it to her. Lonna took one look at the digital screen and her face got even more angry. “101.6 degrees. Why didn’t you say anything?” Suga turned his head away from her. “Why force yourself until you collapse? Do you know how worried I was? I wanted to see you immediately to know you were ok. But at the same time, I was worried you weren’t.”
