Jisoo looked at the solemn faces that filled the unusually silent warehouse. Her eyes then turned sad themselves as they landed on Yoongi. He was sitting on the stairs with his head in his hands. His body seemed to grow even more tense as the silence lingered. Finally, she got hold of herself and masked her sadness with her usual look of indifference and annoyance. She clicked her tongue on the roof of her mouth, breaking the silence and making everyone take notice. “What’s with all the sad faces?’

“Dirt bag!” RM screamed angrily.

“Judas!” Jhope followed suit.

“Slimebucket!” Taehyung added. Jimin as usual didn’t say anything, instead he just stuck his tongue out angrily at the older boy. Jisoo set her eyes on Yoongi once more who let out a relaxing breath and finally lifted his head, but still refused to make eye contact with anyone.

“Whatever.” Was all he said, but Jisoo didn’t hear the usual bite his comebacks normally had. If she turned her head to get a better look, through the mess of blonde hair she swore she saw sadness written in his dark brown eyes. Seeing that emotion on the usually confident devil tore at her heart and made her pity him.

Yoongi cleared his throat “I’m not here to ask your opinion.” His jaw tensed as he tried to fight back the tears that threatened to fall. “I’ve made my decision.”

Hearing Yoongi’s words lit the fire that was already burning RM’s chest. He stood up and stomped angrily over to his longtime friend, who moved his head the opposite direction to avoid looking at him. “How can you abandon me?” He was too hurt to even try to hide his emotions in his voice and Yoongi bit his lip to hold in his own. “I have been with you since high school, and now you’re leaving?! All the feelings we’ve shared?! Now what?!”

After the rant was over RM swept his fingers through his hair and huffed in embarrassment. Yoongi still sat silently as RM sat awkward beside him on the step. “You can’t just take back our memories. From now on, all I will be able to do is think of you sadly.” He turned his tear-filled eyes to his friend. “What are you going to do about it?” He grew annoyed as Yoongi still didn’t look at him and refused him any response. The small thought of dropping the embarrassing conversation quickly played out in his head, but he was too angry to just let Suga win. “No, you have to give me an answer!” He yelled.

Jisoo had sat and watched her boyfriend embarrass himself long enough. “Back off RM. Be more like a man, okay?” RM’s head dropped. “Are these things a man like you should be crying over?” RM nervously turned himself away from Suga and started you worriedly rub the back of his neck. Jisoo rolled her eyes and turned her stare back to Suga. “But those same questions, if I was Lonna, I’d ask too.”

Suga couldn’t hold back the tears anymore as he looked at Jisoo. She had reminded him of the one thing he had been trying not to think about, Lonna, and her feelings, the mere thought of the sadness that would surely be in her eyes made Suga want to rip out his heart. The pain was too much to think about, but he knew he couldn’t avoid it any longer.

Pamella sat in the one chair in the living room that had the perfect view of the front door. Her heart beat more and more rapidly as the clock loudly ticked away in the quiet room. The anticipation of her daughter’s arrival home should be a happy occasion, but right now it only made her anxiety rise. She dug her nails in the arm of the chair as she heard soft footsteps coming down the hall. She bit her lip in worry as she watched Lonna take her shoes off at the door and start to walk up to her.

“I’m home.” Lonna said happily when she got to her mother’s side.  The look of confusion suddenly swept over her features as she looked over the empty house. “Why are you sitting here alone? Where is Mr. Min and Yoongi?”

Pamella slowly got up from her seat and moved closer to Lonna. “Mr. Min went to visit his mother, and Yoongi is with RM and the gang.”

“Oh.” Lonna said and tried to make her way around her mother to go upstairs. Her eyes grew wide with surprise as her mother gripped her arm and forced her to stop.

Pamella took a deep breath “Lonna, I have something important to tell you.”

The shake in her mother’s voice made Lonna’s heart start to beat harder. The look of empathy written in her eyes, she wondered how she hadn’t noticed it right off. All the signs of bad news were there and Lonna was having trouble calming herself. The tears were already stinging her eyes. “Please take it calmly.” Her mother pleaded, but Lonna knew that was already beyond her control. Part of her knew what her mother was going to say, but she still prayed her instincts were wrong. She silently begged her mother not to say it. “Yoongi has decided to go to Italy.”

Hearing the words made the room smaller. Lonna felt trapped. The air grew thinner and breathing grew harder to do. She was frozen in her spot as her heart silently screamed out in pain. Seeing her daughter’s state, Pamella quickly moved her to sit down on the couch. She moved the coffee table back a bit and sat on it’s surface grabbing Lonna’s hands in her to try and comfort her, but the shock was too strong for Lonna to even acknowledge her gesture. “Mr. Min called me this afternoon to tell me. I thought before Yoongi comes back I should tell you. This is Yoongi’s decision, but…” Pamella could start to she the look of despair move over her daughter’s face and her heart squeezed in empathy. She moved her hand softly caress her cheek. “If you appear to be really, really sad in front of him, he might feel horrible. I thought out of everyone, you would be the most understanding.”

“He is abandoning me.” Lonna finally spoke. “Leaving by himself.”

Pamella sighed heavily at the distant look in her daughter’s eyes. “Lonna, you already suspected he might…didn’t you?”

One lonely teardrop successfully fought its’ way out of Lonna’s eyes and quickly rolled down her pale cheek. “I had a feeling. But…I still couldn’t accept it.” The confession had made it all too much. Opening up had broken the protective dam Lonna had been forcing herself to hold on to. She felt like she was been torn apart from the inside. Her only thought was to run. Run from the pain inside her. Her need for fresh air caused her to quickly slip on her shoes and ignore her mother’s pleas as she bolted out the front door. She ran down the street uncaring about who she bumped into and no thought as to where she might end up.
