Lonna came out of the store and looked down at all the snacks and drinks she had in her hand. The memory of how she had been made into an errand girl popped into her head.
‘Suga sat holding his stomach with a look of pain on his face. “I’m hungry. Go and grab me some food. I want…” He said as he tapped his chin with his slender finger in thought. “Beer, stew, pizza, custard, fruit…uh, and a coke.” Lonna had stood in front of him with her mouth wide open. ‘How could one person eat so much?’ she silently questioned, but it seemed Suga wasn’t done yet. “Also, bring anything that you think I would want.”’
Now Lonna was stuck carrying loads of bags by herself and getting overly frustrated by the fact that things kept falling out. She hated herself for being so weak and letting this devil push her around. ‘Is my life over?’She questioned as she moved miserably through the school, tired from the heavy load. ‘How do I get out from under this devil?’ She was so lost in her thoughts once more, that she didn’t realize someone was near her, until they pulled her hair making her scream in pain as they pushed her down onto the bottom steps, making the food fall everywhere.
“What the…” Lonna started until she saw the tall girl standing over her. She stood with her arms crossed angrily over her chest. Her hair was shoulder length and jet black, except one blue streak. She looked down at Lonna with disgust on her face.
“Who the hell are you?” The angry girl asked her. “Who allowed a piece of trash like you to hang around with Prince?” Her voice rose the madder she got.
“Who’s Prince?” Lonna asked not really in the mood to play this game.
“Yoongi. Prince of Seduction.” The girl said with a look of pure adoration. Lonna couldn’t hold in her laughter, she found it funny that anyone would find Suga good looking enough to give such a nickname.
“Prince? What a joke?” She said still laughing. The girl looked down at her with a look of annoyance. “Also, calling me trash is very rude.’ Lonna was done with the overly cocky girl and was ready to leave as she reached around to pick up all the food she had gotten for Suga. In anger the girl kicked one of the bags of food out of Lonna’s grasp.
“Shut your mouth! Are you stupid?!” The girl shouted at her. “You’re not worthy to be a toy of Prince, even if you wanted to. He will get sick of you quickly, so I am warning you, stay away from him.”
Lonna had had enough of the tiring girl’s rambling. She rolled her eyes in anger and got to her feet “I have had enough. If it wasn’t for that devil not returning my letter, I wouldn’t have to go through all this.” Lonna shouted back at the girl.
“Letter?” The girl couldn’t hide the confusion in her voice. Just as the two girls were having their fight, Jin was making his way up the stairs and became witness to the situation.
“Hey, what’s going on?” Jin asked out of curiosity making both girls look in his direction with annoyed looks. After realizing it was Jin, Lonna dropped her head in shame, but the other girl seemed to be staring a hole right through him. She took one more look at Lonna before walking off in a huff. Jin waited for her to go away before approaching a flustered Lonna, who was trying to avoid eye contact. “Are you ok?’ He asked legitimately concerned.
“I’m fine.” Lonna said before turning away to pick up the food once more.
“I heard that a freshman is bullying you into doing errands for him.” Jin blurted out. Lonna was disheartened that the rumor had spread already.
“It’s not like that…” Lonna said. “it’s because of something else.” She hung her head low for being so cowardly. Jin smiled kindly behind her back.
“I don’t know what the reason is, but if you don’t want to do it, then you should just say so.” Jin said hoping Lonna would find some courage to stand up for herself with his words.
‘Is he worrying about me?’ Lonna wondered as she thought she heard a slight hint of concern in his voice. The thought made her smile widely. Jin bent down to help Lonna put all the food back in the bags. ‘That’s it, I must tell Jin my feelings.” Lonna’s thoughts made her unable to remove her smile. ‘If I tell him, then Suga won’t have anything to hold over my head anymore.’
Author’s POV
The girl grew angrier as she stood in her hiding spot, watching the pair smile at each other.
Lonna’s POV
She walked up to the two boys and furiously slammed the bags of food on the picnic table they were sitting at. “I have decided to tell him. So now you can’t use that letter against me.” She said to Suga. Who was sitting on top the picnic table with his elbows on his ripped jean clad knees.
“So, you’re going to profess your love to the basketball star?” Suga asked acting as if he was trying to get what she was telling him straight. “Do you really think you can?” Lonna was upset at this evil devil boy questioning her courage. Suga refused to look at her.
“I can, and I will! So now you can’t blackmail me anymore!” Lonna said in an overconfident manner. Suga just shook his head in understanding. ‘I can’t back down.’Lonna thought as she stared at the boy in front of her. Suga ignored her stares and words once again and reached into the bag.
“Hey…why are my custards broken?” He asked being more concerned about his poor food than the pissed off girl at the moment. “You ruined them, now I can’t have any with my tea later.” Suga said mirroring Lonna’s pissed off expression.
“I don’t care about your custards or your tea. I am never going to let you order me around again!” Lonna shouted at the devil boy in front of her. She huffed in annoyance before turning to take off. Before making it only a few steps, RM jumped up to stop her.
“Lonna, you sound awfully confident.” He said once he had successed in stopping her. Lonna was done with both boys and refused to let them say or do anything to deter her.
Suga’s POV
Suga watched as Lonna roughly shoved his friend out of her way. “Move! Get out of my way!” She screamed at him. Suga kept watching as she finally stomped away. RM looked after the girl that was leaving as well, until he smiled at the girl that was making her way to the pair of boys. She played with the wrapped package of cookies in her hand until Lonna passed and she tried not to look at her but failed slightly.
Forgetting about the girl running away, she plastered a sweet smile on her face and continued happily towards the boys. RM walked up to her overjoyed about her presence but tried to play it cool. “Hey, Jisoo.” He waved at her, only to be ignored as she passed him by without even recognizing him. RM felt stupid for even trying as he watched her in sadness walk up to Suga.
“I brought some cookies for you Suga.” Jisoo smiled sweetly at him. Suga ignored her statement and took a bite into the custards. “Why are you eating those, they are all broken?” She asked him.
“Why do you look so pissed?” RM asked noticing that look he knew all to well on his friend’s face.
“Shut up!” Suga yelled looking at RM in anger. RM dropped his head. Suga looked at the broken custard in his hand before throwing the box on the ground and stomping away in anger leaving the girl and his friend behind him.
RM looked at Jisoo and couldn’t take the sad look she had as she watched Suga leave. “Suga is just in a bad mood right now.” Despite his kind words she just ignored him.
Suga didn’t look back as he walked with nothing but angry thoughts in his mind.
