Later in the night, Lonna, Suga, and his gang, all stood with the crowd that gathered beside Tiger City theater to see the winning Christmas tree design. The applause grew loud as the announcer step up to speak. "It's that time of year, and to make this Christmas even better, this year's Christmas tree theme celebration now begins."

The young woman that stood beside him held up one end of a plug while he held up the other. They put the two together, successfully lighting up the Christmas tree. The multicolored disk that served as the tree limbs, reflected the lights wrapped around the trunk, making for quite the light show. The crowd cheered loudly as they watched it.

The only ones not clapping was Suga and the other four, who all had frowns on their faces. "In the end, we still lost." RM said sadly.

"They picked another college student's design. They never even selected us." Jhope moped. The four boys looked around them, at the smiling faces of the crowd as they cheered.

"The competition results, compared to their smiling faces, aren't important." RM tried to cheer the others up.

"I know they aren't important." Jhope gave RM a big smile.

"The blessed season is finally here." Lonna spoke happily as her and Suga now stood alone from the crowd.

"Is it?" Suga asked.

"Yes. Doesn't it feel like even though it's cold outside, you feel warm inside?"

"Isn't everyone just wearing a smile to fit into this artificial season?" Suga voice was melancholy at best.

"Not true. Everyone truly feels happy." Lonna countered.

"Then I am maladjusted."

"I think you're afraid." Lonna boldly said her thoughts out loud.

"You've said a lot today. I'm leaving." Suga turned and walked away from her. It's like he is afraid of losing warmth, so he makes himself cold and distant. Lonna thought as she watched him walk away.

Lonna was once again lost in her worrying thoughts as she walked home alone. Suddenly a tug of her sleeve stop her walking. She looked over at the sweet smiling little girl. "Unnie, look over there!" The little girl shouted as she pointed to the overpass sidewalk beside them. Lonna's eyes followed her instructions.

Sitting on the edge of the overpass was a small white Christmas tree. It looked familiar to Lonna. Her heart raced in her chest as the fireworks started going off behind it. The fire was enough to brighten the decorations. She left the little girl behind as she ran quickly up the stairs.

A smile lit up her face as she reached the top. Suga stood there, now holding the Christmas tree in his hand. "Blessings never belonged to the devil. Like I said earlier, this kind of cheerful atmosphere, I've never been able to stand it."

Lonna stood still as he talked. Butterflies fluttered wildly in her stomach. "That was, until you drew for me the shape of happiness." He held up the small tree for her to look at.

Lonna now knew why it was so familiar. "My design was so uncreative, but it made me happy." She gave Suga one of the most beautiful smiles he thought he had ever seen. He fought his own smile to continue talking.

"Because of you, for the first time, the devil likes this season."

"So you can't deny the warmth, and you can't insist on being alone?" Lonna asked.

"I can't deny, or insist." Suga answered. Lonna could stand being far from him anymore, as she ran and wrapped her arms around him. "I'll give you happiness." Suga said in her ear. "In this season, it will be my promise to you."

Lonna looked Suga in the eyes as she leaned up to kiss him, but before she could Suga turned his head and looked down. Lonna in confusion, did the same. On the ground of the sidewalk was a Christmas tree that was shaped by multicolored Christmas lights. They twinkled brightly in the darkness around them.

Lonna was beyond giddy as Suga pulled her tight against him once again.

Back at home, Lonna carefully placed the tiny tree Suga had given her on her bedside table. Her eyes shined with adoration as she stared at it. She picked the cellphone up that laid beside her.

Suga's POV

Suga's new phone rang loudly as he picked it up off the table. "What is it?" He asked as he answered.

"Can you promise me, you'll work harder to turn all your sins into blessings?" Lonna's voice came from the other end.

"What do you mean?" Suga asked confused by her request.

"I mean Jungkook." Suga sat silent as he listened. "The dilemma of being Yoongi's brother."

The Next Day (Jungkook's POV)

"Didn't you say you had the toughest brother?" The bully asked as he shoved Jungkook hard against the pillar behind him.

"What do you want?!" Jungkook screamed as he pushed him weakly away from him.

The bully double up his fist and hit Jungkook in the stomach making him double over in pain. "I don't want anything." He bent down and grabbed a handful of Jungkook's hair, he raised his head up to look at him. "Just the look on your sorry face...makes me happy." His toothless smile sent shivers down Jungkook's spine, but he showed him no fear.

The sound of a motorcycle coming to a stop close to them caught both the boys attentions. They both looked up to see who the rider was. The kick stand clicked into place as he revved the engine. Suga sat lazily on the seat as he crossed his arms in front of him.

Once the leader realized who it was, he quickly released Jungkook and tried to walk away with the three other bullies in the opposite direction. Their escape was stopped as RM walked in their way.

They quickly turned to head another way, but Taehyung moved to block them. The direction behind them was blocked as well, by a smiling Jhope.

They had no choice but to turn back towards Suga, Jimin was already blocked the last escape beside him. Jungkook couldn't believe what he was seeing as he stayed on the ground, holding his stomach.

Lonna's POV

"Enough. Suga has missed too many practices. He has no team spirit." Jin said to Lonna and Jisoo.

"He is better than them, without practice." Jisoo said in his defense.

"What about RM, Jimin, Jhope, and Taehyung? Why aren't they practicing?" He asked in an angry tone. Lonna and Jisoo both quickly looked at the ground. "The competition is almost here. Everyone's morale is low."

Lonna looked over at Jisoo. "Jisoo, do you know where they are?" She asked.

"It's all because of you!" Jisoo snapped at her. She turned her head back to Jin. "Captain...blame manager Lonna." Lonna was at a complete loss to what she was blaming her for now. "She nagged Suga into resolving some...high school kid's issues."

Lonna couldn't believe what she heard. "He's at Jungkook's school?"

Jisoo gave her an angry look. "They...all...went." She said the words one at a time and slowly. "Noona, because of your bullshit. Suga might flip and go on a killing spree." Worried by Jisoo's words, Lonna started walking towards the exit.

"Stop right there!" Jisoo screamed making Lonna jump to a halt. "Going to dump all the duties on me again?!" She turned around to the team practicing behind her. "Anyone have a beverage request?! See Lonna!"

The team ran at full speed to circle around Lonna, blocking off any chance of escape. She yelled over their loud requests. "Jisoo, will they be alright?" Jisoo ignored her, as she left the gym. Lonna was forced to take the orders.

Jin's cellphone echoed in the gym as he quickly answered it. "Krystal?" He listened to what she said on the other end. "Sorry, I forgot." His head dropped in shame. "I don't have time right now. You know the competition is coming up." He stood talking to her as the others took a break and Lonna went to get their food.
