Bet Is On

Lonna and Jin couldn't look each other in the eye. The last time they had seen each other was quickly running through both their minds. Krystal looked at Momo, who gave her a nervous look. Krystal bit her bottom lip as she slowly moved beside Jin, who tried hard to keep his face from blushing.

"No matter what, we're still friends." Krystal said pointing between the two, trying to break the awkward silence. "Lonna..."

"I want to be friends." Lonna said shyly. She couldn't help but feel nervous. Jin had every right to hate her. She just prayed he wouldn't.

"That's good." Krystal smiled at them both. "Hey, stop looking like that. You don't owe anyone anything." Lonna smiled slightly at her friend's words.

Krystal turned to Jin. "And...a guy shouldn't hold grudges. So forget the past. It will make you even more handsome." Jin couldn't stop his smile at her compliment.

"I understand."

"Good...because Lonna has a favor to ask." Krystal gave her sweetest grin to Jin.

"What?" Jin felt like he was being led into a trap.

Back at the basketball court

Suga leaned up against the basketball goal. The look on his face looked like her was sulking, but Jisoo chose to ignore it as she walked up to him. "Prince, do you want some water?" Her sweet tone was making Suga's already freyed nerves worse.

"No, and don't call me that." Jisoo's smile instantly faded at his harsh tone. Jin finally walked back into the gym.

"Everyone, gather around, I need you help." He yelled across the gym, trying to get everyone's attention.

"Captain, what do you want to say?" Jisoo became annoyed as she saw Lonna and her friends enter the gym.

"Everyone knows the basketball club has become very popular lately." He let his eyes take a quick glance at Suga who glared daggers at him. "Which isn't a bad thing. So..." Before he could finish Krystal had pushed a stunned Lonna to the middle of the floor, catching everyone's attention.

"Everyone!" Krystal looked around at the boys that now stared quietly back at her in shock of her interrupting their captain. "Lonna the basketball club manager is coming back to work."

"What? That's not right. I object!" Jisoo shouted.

"What a coincidence, because I object to your objection." Jisoo's eye lids lowered in anger. Krystal didn't care the girl was mad with her. She slowly stuck out her tongue in Jisoo's direction. Jisoo's mouth dropped in astonishment.

Lonna and the rest of the team could feel the tension in the room. "Krystal, tone it down, the way I quit was very irresponsible." Lonna said hoping to calm her friend and the situation down.

"Lonna, do you want to let that woman win?" Krystal's tone was slightly angry.

"But I quit first." Lonna whispered as she looked at her friend.

"But Suga will be stolen." Krystal whispered. Lonna's eyes moved to look at him. His face slightly softened as they made eye contact, but she could still see he was angry. What about she wasn't sure.

Jisoo walked up to Lonna, breaking the contact between her and Suga. "Noona, the current manager is me." Her voice was threatening, but she still tried to cover it up with a sweet tone.

Krystal couldn't help but giggle at the girl's attempt to intimidate. "But if you suck, we can replace you."

"Krystal, this is a club issue, you shouldn't make so many comments." Jin finally spoke up. Krystal bit her lip sadly at Jin reprimanding her. "What do you think? Both Lonna and Jisoo are good candidates. Let's vote." The two girls that were still facing each other looked nervously to the floor.

"Raise your hand if you want our current manager, Jisoo." RM looked nervously around as no one raised their hand. He fought with himself.

"Who said we could only have one?" Suga broke the silence quickly. Jisoo looked his direction and silently thanked him. He was trying to spare her feelings. "Having two, would be fine too."

With no one speaking against his suggestion, Jin nodded in agreement. Lonna smiled widely as she turned to face the team. "I will do my best." She bowed lightly before turning her attention to the boy behind her.

Suga quickly broke the contact between them as a look of anger took over him again. Lonna couldn't stop feeling she had done something wrong. Krystal looked at the sulking girl beside her and grinned in victory. Jisoo rolled her eyes and refused to look at her. Krystal couldn't help feeling even more satisfaction.

After practice

Krystal sat on the stairs laying her head on her knees. She couldn't shake the feeling that she had made Jin made at her. The way she had told her off in the gym was making her feel worse. She waited for him to come out so she could apologise.

Jin spotted the girl in no time. "Krystal!" He yelled to get her attention. Krystal jumped up at the sound of his voice.

"I was waiting for you...to tell you something." Krystal gripped the strap of her bag out of nerves. "I'm sorry for today, at the basketball club. I asked for a big favor."

"I know you did it for a friend, but...I hope you won't mixed personal and club issues again. I'm the captain, so it's not a good thing." Jin said.

Krystal nodded in agreement. "Then let's talk about personal stuff. Our first date...can we set it for the day after tomorrow?" Krystal could feel herself shaking.

At first Jin showed no expression, then a smile spread across his face as he nervously shook his head. Krystal couldn't hold herself together as she bounced around excitedly before leaving the laughing boy behind to go to work. Jin couldn't help but feel happiness at seeing her be so happy.

The Devil Gang POV

The four boys stood in the huge warehouse. The sound of the foosball table echoed through it. Jimin and Jhope made one team, while RM and Taehyung was the other. They turned the knobs roughly as the ball went back and forth.

"So what should we bet?" Jhope asked.

"3000 won each." RM answered. (This drama is Taiwanese so I had to convert, they bet 100 in the show)

"What's with Suga and Jisoo?" Taehyung spoke up.

"Idiot, it has to be those two together." RM answered.

Jhope quickly glanced over to Jimin as he quietly shook his head. "See even Jimin says he is with Lonna."

The other two boys laughed in disagreement. "Two to two. It's a tie." Jhope said. He quickly tried to smack the ball in Tae and RM's goal. "In!"

Taehyung turned the handle and pushed ball away. "Not in!"

"Your skills can't compete. Just like Lonna against Jisoo." RM teased.

"Bull. If Suga wanted Jisoo, it would have happened long ago." Jhope shot back. "Don't you know last comes first?"

"Stupid, don't you know Lonna is no match for Jisoo."

"You're stupid, don't you know it's not about who is tougher? Just watch." Jhope said as he again attacked the other teams goal with a shot.

"Did you block it?" Tae asked losing sight of the ball.

"Go back, go back." RM begged the tiny white sphere. As if his prayers were answered the ball went pass Jimin's guard and into the goal. Tae and RM cheered in victory.

"You may have won this, but bet is still on." Jhope said.
