Suga glared at Lonna over top his bowl making her so nervous, she barely felt like eating. Pamela picked up the spoon and stirred the hot pot contents, still completely oblivious to the situation around her. “Such a delicious hot pot.” Pamela said. “Too bad your father isn’t here to enjoy it. Too bad.” She sadly shook her head as she refilled her own empty bowl.

“Auntie.” Suga suddenly speaking made Lonna jump involuntarily. He never took his eyes off her as he started a conversation with her mother. “You were saying noona was having a Teacher-Student affair?” Lonna silently cursed him for bringing the subject back to her mother’s attention.

She quickly shoved a piece of food in her mouth, trying to look normal, but she instantly regretted it. The broth was so spicy, it burnt her tongue on impact. “Ah! Mom! Why is it so hot? Didn’t say only a little spicy?”

“Isn’t it tasty?” Suga teased her.

“Are you okay?” Her mother joined in on Suga’s teasing as they both laughed at her.

Suga stopped laughing as he slowly reached next to him and grabbed a tissue, handing it over to Lonna. A large creepy smile on his face. “You’re sweating.”

Lonna glared angrily at him as she snatched the tissue from him. Remembering the subject, Pamela lightly tapped Suga’s shoulder. “You’re right. It was a Teacher-Student affair. Our Lonna proclaimed she would only marry Keun-suk. Even swore to it.”

“I didn’t! Don’t lie!” Lonna yelled defensively.

“You’ve forgotten. I’ll prove it to you.” Pamela said before getting up from the table.

Lonna jumped up from her chair but was too late to try and stop her mother. “Mom, what are you doing?” She demanded to know.

Suga laughed loudly. “This is so great.” He teased, but Lonna knew he was just trying to hide his jealous rage in front of her mother.

Shortly after, Pamela came back to table holding a small notebook in her hands. She scooted her chair closer to Suga and opened it up to the front page. There was a small picture of Lonna when she was younger, sitting beside Keun-suk. “Yoongi look, this is her middle school diary.” Suga gave the picture an angry glare as he saw the two-smiling people staring back at him. He quickly hid it with a fake smile. “Everything written here are about sweet memories of Keun-suk.” Pamela motioned to the page with words written in bold black ink. Lonna couldn’t move as she just gulped. “Lonna was so cute back then.” Her mother gushed.

“She was cute.” Suga agreed. Lonna was mortified by their interaction. “Why didn’t I meet her back then?”

Lonna had had enough of this and tried to take the book. “Give it…”

Before she could get near, Suga took it out of Pamela’s hands and moved it out of Lonna’s reach, as he started flipping through the pages. “It’s the whole book.” Lonna watched as Suga’s eyes widen at the shock of how many pages there were.

Lonna quickly tried to get the book out of his hands once more, but Pamela quickly grabbed them. “Oh, yeah, Lonna, I promised Keun-suk that tomorrow you will show him around.” Lonna felt her chest tighten in anxiety.

“Mom! Why did you make that decision on your own?!” She yelled.

Pamela gave her daughter a pouty look. “He wants to see daddy’s old house.” Lonna quickly looked over at Suga, who’s eye twitched as he listened. “I think it is great.” Pamela continued talk as Suga looked up at Lonna, she swore that if he could get anymore mad, steam would be coming out of his ears. “When you give him the key, you can show him around the house too.” Lonna silently begged her mother to hush, but of course she kept talking. “The place is filled with your childhood memories.”
