Forgiveness

Suga left Jisoo behind as he ran as fast as he could from the gym. His head swam with anger as anxiety ripped his chest, but he ignored it because the only thing he had to do was reach her in time. He couldn't let her be hurt.

"If your gone, Jisoo will be happy." RM said as he took slow steps towards Lonna.

"Do you know how stupid this is?" Lonna's whole body told her she should run, but she ignored it.

"So what if it is? For Jisoo, I will do anything." Lonna couldn't leave, even if she wanted to. This was not the RM she had come to know.

"I don't believe you'll hurt me. You're not that kind of person." Lonna could see RM falter for a second, before continuing his slow walk towards her.

"Don't underestimate me!" RM was angered by the lack of fear Lonna was showing.

"Truth is..." Lonna talked calmly, trying to keep control of her emotions. "You're more scared than I am." RM stopped just inches away from her. The rain had completely soaked him, his face showed his confusion, and Lonna hoped she had reached him.

Suga ran across the campus. 'Why, why is it when I am around you, it's always so dangerous?' Lonna's words came to him. 'I can't stop danger from happening, but... I can protect you.' He remembered the night he had said it. The night they had almost died on his bike. 'This is my promise...and I won't allow Lonna to be in danger because of me.' With this thought in mind, he somehow found the strength to run faster.

"You have to disappear. Don't make us suffer anymore!" RM screamed in Lonna's face, she refused to flinch.

"This is wrong. This isn't love. Doing it this way, no one will be happy. Why can't you and Jisoo love yourselves more? The way you love others is so sad." RM couldn't look her in the eyes. He was trying to keep himself from being swayed by her. She was right he was scared, but he had to do this, he had something that was worth it. "Not knowing how to love someone properly, and not being able to express emotions properly, in the end everyone gets hurt." Lonna could feel her heart breaking for the boy in front of her. "That kind of love, is worthless!"

"Stop talking..." RM screamed as he raised the pipe in his hand. "Be gone!" Lonna closed her eyes, as RM swung the pipe towards her. She prayed she was right, that he didn't have it in him to hurt her.

The blow never came, and the sound of metal hitting the concrete rang loudly in her ears. The first thing she saw when she opened her eyes, was RM laying on the ground holding his cheek in pain. Her eyes widen in shock as Suga walked from beside her to grab the collar of RM's jacket. "If you have a grudge with me! You come to me! Why hurt a woman?" He screamed. "Huh?"

"Why?!" RM screamed back. "Jisoo likes you so much, yet she gets nothing back! Why?!"

"Do you want me to date her out of pity?" Lonna hated seeing the anger on both the boy's faces.

"You're the only one whose ever made her happy." The rain hide the slight tears that were threatening to run down RM's cheeks. "She's too tragic. Too tragic!"

"Do you think you can tell me who to love? Do you know what love is? Huh?"

"You don't know!" RM stood up in anger. "You don't know how it feels!" RM lifted his foot and kicked Suga in the stomach. As Suga bent over in pain, RM hit him hard in the face. "You don't know anything!" He yelled as he grabbed the collar of Suga's jacket to pull him to look at him. "Who have you ever loved? You don't know anything!"

"So what?" Suga had recovered from the pain. "This is how you show love?!" He shoved RM's hands off him, before punching him so hard he fell to the ground again.

In anger, RM got back up and exchanged blows with Suga. Their hits went back and forth, Lonna could see Suga change into a different person with each hit. Once he found an opening, Suga uppercut RM and followed it with a hook, sending him dazed to his back.

"Stop fighting! Stop!" Lonna screamed, but Suga wouldn't listen. The look in his eyes told Lonna, the Suga she knew was gone. He was someone totally different now. Someone her screams couldn't reach.

With RM still collapsed on the ground, Suga walked over and grabbed ahold of the metal pipe. He quickly moved over RM once more, who looked up at him in fear. He raised the pipe above his  head.

As she saw the pipe start to descend, Lonna ran from her spot. She felt the anxiety rise in her chest as she watched the pipe going lower. Her feet felt as heavy as lead. She did what she thought was best, as she ran past Suga and draped herself over the scared boy on the ground.

Suga stopped the pipe just short of hitting the top of Lonna's head. "Suga, you can't." Lonna looked up at him. The crazy look that was on his face a moment ago, was now replaced with a look of shock. She could tell he was still angry though. "If you do this, you'll hate yourself. I don't want to see you regretting this."

It seemed her words had gotten through to him finally, Suga threw the pipe aside and reached down and gripped Lonna's arm, pulling her roughly off of RM. "RM..." RM looked up at Suga who was still standing over him, with Lonna by his side. "If you ever...try to hurt Lonna again, I'll hate you forever." RM's head dropped in defeat.

"We'll just forget about this. It will be alright." Lonna smiled sweetly at  RM, before Suga dragged her away. Jisoo watched as he hit the ground in frustration.

Suga leaned against Lonna as they walked back into the building. "Suga..." Lonna couldn't take the silent tension between them. The look of anger on Suga's face made her feel bad.

"Just then, I almost hurt you." The sadness was evident in his voice.

"You didn't. I'm fine." Suga stopped walking.

"You can drop the tough act." He looked at Lonna. "If I hadn't stopped, I would have busted your fat head open."

"I just didn't want to see you hurt each other." The moment flashed through his mind. His head dropped in a mix of emotions as he let Lonna go and started walking ahead.

"Where are you going?" Lonna asked, confused of him letting her go.

"I'm taking you home, to change." Suga said. "You're all wet." He turned around and saw the depressed look on her face. He plastered on a fake smile. "Don't worry noona..." Lonna finally looked at him. "You don't have what it takes, to give me lustful thoughts." He started walking again. Lonna followed him. She was full of worry, that he was hiding something.

RM hit the ground again. "Forget about this...what's that about? Why did you have to forgive me?!" The tears fell hard as Jisoo watched him. She wanted to wait for him to calm down before she talked to him. She had to talk to him.
