Chapter 20

Erick clapped his hands together and let out a hearty laugh, Cyrus looked at him then looked at Richard for a second trying not to laugh himself.

Anouk walked into the room, Erick looked at her and plastered a grin on his face. "Someone's being watching too much Jason Bourne."

Anouk looked at Erick, her cheeks heated up to the colour red as she sat down next to me and looked at Erick. "There is no such thing as watching too much Jason Bourne."

"And you are just jealous of Matt Damon because you aren't him."Anouk added as she looked at Erick.

Chris looked at me, wanting to say something then Kat began to cry from her car seat.

Lydia handed a baby bag to Chris and picked up Kat from the car seat and looked at Chris. "Make her milk."

"Yeah okay."Chris said as he got up with the bag and walked into the kitchen.

I got up and walked in after him, closing the door and looked at him as he pulled the formula and bottle out of the bag.

"Are you okay?"I asked as I looked at him with so much concern.

He let out a sniff and carried on making the bottle of Kat's, I sat down on the breakfast bar with his back to me and my legs swinging making a noise for him to turn around.

He finally did but walked to the microwave, not looking at me and put the bottle in.

I looked at him. "My salt and vinegar crisps, what's wrong?"

He turned his head over his shoulder and looked at me with his tears brimmed in his eyes. "What kind of man am I?"

"W-What?"

"Whatever she says on the click of her fingers I do it."Chris said as he looked at me. "Do you do that Zabdiel? Does Anouk do that Richard? Does gabby do it Joel?"

"W-What's happened?"

The microwave pinged, I quickly got up as he took the bottle out of the microwave and took it off him.

I looked up at him as my other hand rested on his wrist. "Just wait here."

Then I opened the door and walked into the living room, I handed Chris the bottle and walked back into the kitchen closing the door.

I walked over to him, I took a hold of his hand and looked up at him. "What is it?"

"I caught her having an affair."Chris explained as he looked at me with tears trickled down his face. "When I first went into the apartment, she was with someone in the bedroom doing things and Kat was fast asleep then I went back out and came out an hour later when Kat was awake then she thought I was stupid and hurried off to the bedroom and sneaked him out the fire escape."

"Wait till I get that bitch."I muttered under my breath with so much rage and anger inside of me.

"One thing I don't get was I never enough? What was so wrong with me that she would cheat on me?"Chris said as he looked at me. "There has to be something wrong with because whoever comes always leave in the end."

I rested my other hand on his cheek, my thumb wiped his tears away and looked at him. "You are fine, more than fine you are amazing and you know what? If she can't see that I'll be happy to shove her head up her ass a little more so she can see her black heart."

Chris looked at me and let out a soft chuckle. "What are you on today?"

"Nothing, it's just that no one hurts my prawn cocktail crisps and gets away with it."
