Logan walked through the dangerous halls after class ended. He was on his way to History.
"Hey, look! It's the guy who doesn't have any friends!," a student in one of his classes taunted.
Logan rolled his eyes. It doesn't matter. Your emotions don't matter. Don't let him know you care. "I don't care what you say." He walked by the taller student and walked into- OH, GREAT!
Virgil.
"Hey," Virgil whispered, "I'm so sorry for him. He treats almost everyone like that. Are you okay though? Was he bothering y-"
"No! Of course not!" Logan lied. He wasn't too great of a liar, but he did his best.
"I- I mean, are you sure? I don't really know if I'm reading you wrong but I can help you if you wa-"
"I'm fine! I've met people like that before and frankly, I don't care. I'm fine. Completely fine. I'm used to it, why would I care about someone like him? There are bigger problems in the world..." His throat got drier with each lie he told.
"Oh... alright." The taller student left and went to find Roman and Remy.
