(a/n: I HAVE AN IMPORTANT QUESTION:
i typically publish my chapters (on a normal summer day so basically every chapter ive published this summer) from 12 a.m. to 4 a.m. (it's 3 a.m. currently)
but a lot people are there right as i publish them.
so im wondering if you're just
1. across the globe or
2. not sleeping at a normal time (which i understand dude)?also time skip to school on monday!)
Patton practically bolted his way to Elliott at the school bus. Virgil and Logan were talking, also at the school bus. The four of them were the first ones there.
"Elliott! Please, please, please, can I copy your math homework?!" Patton begged.
Elliott chuckled. "What did you do?"
"Well, I didn't get it! At all! And I went to Virgil's room because Logan would be there and Virgil never helps me with math homework because we're both pretty bad at it! So I was gonna ask Logan to help me but they were busy making out so I asked my dad for help and he didn't understand it so he lit my homework on fire! He said, 'I won't let it hurt you anymore.' I printed a copy of it from Mr. Murphy's website, but I couldn't do it all weekend because my dad wouldn't even look at it and obviously, I still didn't know how! And you know how strict Mr. Murphy can get!"
"Okay, okay! Get one or two answers wrong and write the 'show your work' part up to down instead of left to right so he doesn't notice you copied me. And erase some stuff! I'll write some things for you to erase while you copy so it'll look like you fucked up. It's not a Mr. Murphy homework assignment if it's not excessively difficult."
"Thank you so much! I could kiss you!"
Virgil turned around to smirk at his little brother.
Elliott didn't notice. They just quickly pulled out their own homework, a pencil, and an eraser.
Patton successfully copied everything down right as the bus arrived. He stuffed his homework back in his backpack and thanked Elliott about 300 times as they all got on.
Virgil and Logan sat together in the seat behind where Patton and Elliott were sitting together.
Elliott sighed sadly. "I think I should break up with Mitchell."
Those words filled Patton with joy.
"I'm not sure, though."
Dang.
"Because he's so... self absorbed. And he's clingy and kind of... scary? He scares me."
"Yes! Break up with him! I'll be right there with you! In fact, you can do it today! Please!" Patton said. Not only so his crush would finally be single, but also because he wanted Elliott to be in a relationship where they were actually happy.
They frowned and looked at Patton sadly. "He's going to be so upset."
"Don't worry about him. He's put you through enough crap. If you're not happy dating him, don't date him." (a/n: life lesson)
They nodded and sucked in a deep breath. "I'm gonna do it."
"Yay! I'll be right there, so if he tries to pull anything, I've got your back. And your front, maybe."

Virgil was on the window side, so he leaned his back against the wall and put his legs over Logan's thighs.
He was chewing gum and watching a Vine compilation on YouTube while wearing headphones while his boyfriend was reading a book of Greek myths.
Logan looked up from his book and tapped Virgil's shoulder, making him take off his headphones and pause the video. "Hm?"
"You look fantastic today," he complimented him.
Virgil beamed. "Thanks, babe. You too." He was wearing something a little different that day.
He wore a plain gold choker, a gold and black unzipped bomber jacket, laced boots, and skinny jeans with gold chains hanging on the sides. Underneath the bomber jacket was a dark crimson crop top.
"Why the sudden gold? And red? This looks if you and Roman picked an outfit together."
"Dunno," he replied, shrugging. "But actually, Roman bought this outfit for me a few months ago but I never wore it. I'm feeling pretty good about myself today, though."
"Well, you're absolutely stunning."
Virgil brought Logan in for a short but sweet kiss. "You're adorable. And now that you're my boyfriend, can you blow off every guy that tries to flirt with me?"
"If you so desire."
"Oh my God, you're a life saver."
Logan opened his phone camera and saw he had lip gloss on him once again. "Virgiiiiiiiiiil."
He laughed and pulled out his lip gloss. "Fuck it. I'm just going to put lip gloss on you when I want to kiss you."
The nerd rolled his eyes jokingly and allowed Virgil to apply the lip gloss.
"It actually feels quite nice," Logan said observantly.
"I know right? But we'll need to put something else on that pretty face of yours to balance out the gloss.... Highlighter!" He pulled out a rainbow highlighter and a large brush.
"Are you sure I need this?"
"Honestly, you don't. But you look insanely cute."
Logan smashed his lips onto Virgil's passionately, and Virgil simply smirked at the fact that he was irresistible to Logan.
Their bus stop was the first, so them, Patton, and Elliot were the only ones on the bus until the second stop came and some very tall, very loud students walked on.
"Lo, quick! Kiss me in front of them! They're the guys who always flirt with me!" Virgil whispered.
Logan gladly fulfilled his boyfriend's request and definitely got some glares from the tall guys who saw them.
☆
Soon they arrived in Hell.
It was going to be a rough start of the week.
