☆ 7 - something more ☆

Logan's small crush became something much, much more that day. He could definitely confirm to himself that he was in love.

He hated the feeling but adored it at the same time. He put himself down every second he saw Virgil because he knew they could never be together. Who would want to be with someone as fucked up as him?

God, he was so stupid with love.

There they were, Virgil scrolling through Tumblr and Logan sneaking glances at Virgil's gorgeous features.

Virgil looked up. "Yo... Can I try doing your makeup?" he asked randomly.

"Sure, I suppose."

The taller guy grinned and pulled out some makeup from his bag. He set what he had on Logan's bed that they were sitting on.

In front of them were two eyeshadow palettes (one with natural colors, one the opposite), eyeliner, brow pencil, contour stick, mascara, several different lipsticks and lip gloss, black, purple, and blue nail polish, two different colors of highlighter, foundation, concealer, blush, and setting spray. There was a blending brush and a couple other brushes too.

"I'm way paler than you so I'm not going to put my foundation on you," Virgil laughed.

He started on Logan's eyebrows, which didn't take long at all. Then he moved to his eyes. He thought Logan would look nice with black in the corner of his crease going into a navy blue. Then the actual lid would be dark blue becoming a lighter blue in the corner where he'd also put in some iridescent glitter. He went with the idea and did it on both Logan's eyes.

He masterfully put on light blue winged eyeliner to match the color of his lid and put dark blue on his waterline

Pleased at how Logan looked so far, he contoured Logan's cheekbones and nose. Then he added highlighter near the contoured areas.

To finish, he made a gradient on Logan's lips from the lipstick. It was almost all black, but near the middle, it went to navy blue, then light blue, then a tiny bit of white. He used shimmery lip gloss to top it all off.

"I love it!" Virgil said. "I want to take some pictures of you for my Instagram if that's okay?"

"That's completely fine."

"I need better lighting and a cool background, so let's go outside."

They went outside and Virgil snapped about 300 photos even though he ended up only using four of them.

During the session, Virgil kept playfully shouting out words of praise.

Logan didn't have any blush on his face, but it definitely looked like he did.

"What's your username?" Virgil asked. "I'm gonna tag you."

"Oh, I don't use Instagram too much, so you don't have to tag me if you don't want to."

"I want to!"

"Well, then it's just logan_decker."

"Cool. If you see a notification from v.greyson, that's me."

Logan nodded and soon his phone vibrated. It said, "Instagram: v.greyson tagged you in a post." He didn't check it, though. He only used Instagram for occasionally posting his photography.

Suddenly, Logan's phone began to vibrate like crazy.

It was strange, because he's only ever gotten two (at most) notifications a day before he befriended Virgil.

He sighed and opened it.

79 follower requests.

Holy shit.

"Virgil...?"

"Yeah?"

"Are you the reason why I have 79 follower requests?"

"I dunno... Maybe. Accept them all, though. You can get some friends!"

"I doubt they're following be because they want to be my friend, but okay."

That was the day Logan went from 90 to 169 followers, and it didn't even stop growing there.

He followed Virgil, who had almost 2,000 followers, back.

"Can you send me those photos you took?" Logan asked. "I want to edit them to post them on mine if that's fine with you."

"Yeah, totally! Just credit me."

"Of course."

Logan put the photos into his computer and used Photoshop to add in a couple things like he did with most of the other posts on his page. While he did that, he put his phone on the other side of the room and on silent.

Virgil watched on in fascination.

When Logan finished, he was about to post the photos on his own account. He turned to Virgil and asked, "What are you calling this look?"

Virgil blinked. "Umm... Iridescent Bullshit or something? I dunno. I don't name my looks a lot."

By the end of the day, he had 250 followers in total.
