Extremely sorry for being late! I was sick :(

Also, sorry if this chapter isn't that good. I have trouble writing after taking a break for a few days. Literally whatever I was writing was making me cringe.

Lastly, I'll be a little busy this week so updates may be slow.

Standing on the beach with his hands in the pockets of his khaki shorts, the cool breeze ruffling his usually impeccable hair, Shivaay looked every inch one of those rougish bad boys you read about in teen fictions. He had dressed casually, of course, in a plain white v-neck t-shirt, a denim jacket, and shorts. It was a far cry from the usual stern and arrogant businessman he dressed as, but somehow he pulled off the look flawlessly.

The beach, being a private one, wasn't very crowded. Some of their relatives had already gotten ready and come down, and a few other guests of the hotel were walking on the beach. While the others of their group were resting on the recliners or playing in the sand, Shivaay stood gazing at the sea, a smile on his lips as he waited for his lady love. She was taking her own sweet time in coming down to the beach, and it was increasing his excitement by the minute. He knew, of course, that she wouldn't wear anything too revealing, at least not in the presence of the elders of the family. But he also knew that whatever she wore, she would look sexy.

Shivaay was still lost in his thoughts, tapping his loafer clad foot against the sand impatiently, when Rudra came running towards him. The younger man was wearing only a pair of shorts with dope sunglasses, and his six packs made him look like one of those men who belonged on the beach, surfing on the waves and making women drool.

"Bhaiya, chalo na volleyball khelte hai," Rudra nudged Shivaay as he approached.

"Wait, let Annika come. Tum log khelo jaake."

"Bhaiya, bhabhi ane ke baad toh you won't even look at us," Rudra whined. Shivaay rolled his eyes and pushed his brother towards where they had set up a net.

"Just go."

When rudy left, shivaay got back to waiting. He checked his watch, and just then, he sensed her. She was still a little far, he could tell, maybe just leaving the resort through the back door, but she was coming, for sure. His face lit up in a smile, and he turned around.

There she was, her arm looped around his mother's, the both of them wearing matching straw hats and laughing about something as they walked towards the beach. His mother was wearing a long floral dress, looking perfectly like a tourist. But naturally, it was the other woman on whom Shivaay's entire attention was focused. She wore a white halter neck crop top, with a bohemian skirt and white flip flops. The skirt had a high slit, giving glimpses of her smooth, toned leg as she walked. She had let her hair loose, and was wearing classy retro shades. She looked extremely gorgeous, and Shivaay could only stare with his mouth hanging slightly open, as they approached him.
