Chances are, I won't be continuing with this story.
I'm fairly new on Wattpad, and getting the kind of response I got for this story felt really good. Most of the people here on Wattpad, reading and writing Shivika stories, are amazing.
But, I literally just saw something that upset me a lot. I was reading a story on Shivika, called Teri Meri Kahani, and really liked it. That is, until I got to a chapter called Secret Birthday Party and found that some scenes were blatantly copied from my story on India Forums called Birthday Love ( http://www.india-forums.com/forum_posts.asp?TID=4894276 )
Even a few weeks back someone else had plagiarized my work by copy pasting a scene in their own story.
Anyway, so this had REALLY upset me because as a writer, if there is one thing I am against, it is plagiarism. My readers here are real cool people, so I'll try my very best to continue with this story, if only for them. Otherwise, it'll be continued on IF (with the hope that nobody steals any scene). I just don't want to keep reading stories here on Wattpad and maybe come across another such issue. After all, ignorance is bliss.
