Chapter 27

Winnie's Pov

"WINNIE, GET YOUR ASS DOWN HERE!" I heard Liam yell. I didn't even do anything.

"What d-what the hell happen here?" I asked looking at a trashed lounge room.

"We were going to ask you the same thing." Zayn said.

"You think I did this?" I asked not believing this.

"Well, anytime a prank happens it's always you who does it." Liam said with anger in his voice.

"I didn't do this! I wouldn't go this far for a prank!" I yelled.

"Your going to clean this whole room till it is spotless!" Dad yelled.

"What?! Why?! I didn't even do it!" I screamed getting mad.

"Young lady I'd advise you to start now." Liam said sternly.

"I'm not cleaning it, I didn't do!" I yelled.

"Clean it or your not playing kickball tomorrow night." Dad said and walked away. They all left me alone. I didn't do it. I just grabbed a trash bag and started cleaning.

I finished and everyone is gone, they wouldn't let Ethan, Bailey, or Nick help me. I just can't believe they didn't believe me. I was sitting in the couch thinking and the boys came home.

"I see you finished cleaning." Zayn said.

"Did you learn your lesson?" Liam asked.

"What lesson would that be?" I asked with attitude.

"Not to take a prank to that extreme." Zayn said.

"How many times do I have to say it, I didn't do that!" I said.

"Just go and get ready for bed, you need to get rest before the game." Liam said. I had tears welled in my eyes. I ran upstairs and fell straight into a night sleep.

"Winnie, wake up. You gotta get ready for your game." I heard Ethan's voice.

"Fine." I said and grabbed my jersey and shorts. I got dressed and put my cleats on and put my hair up. I went downstairs and saw them dressed. I heard the doorbell and opened it to see Kenzie.

"Hey, Kenzie." I said.

"Hey, Winnie." she said.

"Are you riding with us to the game?" I asked.

"I'm taking you to the game." she said.

"What?" I asked hurt they weren't coming. "You aren't coming?"

"We're coming but were gonna watch you from the van so we won't get mobbed. Kenzie, she's not as likely to be recognized." Dad said.

"Oh, we'll leave." I said and we walked out. We walked to her car and drove to the field.

"Are you mad at the lads?" she asked concerned.

"Yeah, yesterday morning Liam screamed at me for the lounge room being trashed and thought it was my prank. But it wasn't my prank and they didn't believe me so they made me clean up the entire lounge by myself and they went." I said.

"That's terrible." she said. "Shake off all those thoughts and just play your best today." she smiled. And we got out and I walked to the dugout to join my team. I saw Jake.

"Hey, Jake. I haven't seen you in forever." I said and me and Bailey hugged him.

"You ready to play today?" Jake asked. I nod and we were in the field first. I got left center, Bailey, was second base, and Jake, was third base. I caught two balls and Bailey caught one. Bailey, kicked and got to first but got out on second. It was my turn and I kicked it.
