Chapter 41

Winnie's Pov
"Wake up Winnie." I heard Ethan. I got up and took a shower, and brush my hair and teeth. I put on a hot pink crop top that says 'pink' in black, jean shorts, and hot pink sandals. I put on the airplane necklace and my heart one, my bracelet, but didn't put on my wedding ring. I put my hair into a ponytail and a hot pink bow. I put on our moment perfume and ran downstairs. I grabbed my book bag and Bailey, Ethan, and Nick did too.
"Where's your ring?" Ethan asked.
"I didn't wear it because people are thieves these days." I said and he nodded. We started walking and about 5 minutes later we got to school. We went in a grabbed our schedules, I have 1st core with All, 2nd core with none, 3rd with all, PE with all, and fourth with Bailey. We all have lunch together.
"Ok, let's go." Nick said and we split up. We walked into our first class and sat down. It went by so slow and I swear it felt like 10 hours.
~skip to 3rd core~
I sat down and the teacher walked in with a big box.
"Class today we are reading Hamlett." he said and passed out the books. "turn to pa-" he got interrupted by the bell that means code 300. We sat in the corner and I fell and hit my knee, I was about to talk but Ethan covered my mouth. I heard footsteps and they stop but start again.
"Where's Bailey?" Nick asked. My eyes widen and I open the door and look both ways. I heard footsteps but I could tell they were on the other hall. I pushed the button on my necklace and see Bailey I run towards her and push her into the teachers lounge. I lock the door and turn to Bailey.
"What are you doing?" she whispered.
"There's someone in the building." I whispered.
"We have to go back to our class." she said. I quietly unlocked the door and we looked down the hall and it was clear. We ran quietly and got to the room but it was locked. I took out my bobby pin and picked the lock. I heard footsteps and started panicking, I unlocked it and went to step in the class but I heard the click of a gun and froze. I turned around and saw a man with a mask and and gun pointed at me and Bailey.
"W-who a-are you?" I asked with my voice shaky.
"Is this little girl scared?" he asked tilting his head. "You know you're not suppose too. Well, I would be too if I was about to be killed."
"What did I do to you?" I asked and getting a little more confident.
"You don't remember?" he asked.
"I don't even know you." I said.
"Oh you know me, you just don't know it." he said with a smirk.
"Why do you have to be so terrible to kill someone?" I asked getting a little bit more brave.
"Yeah, it would be terrible to kill my sister. Wouldn't it, Makayla?" he asked.
"Alex, why would you kill me?" I asked hurt.
"Why wouldn't I? You said you don't need me, so why should I need you?" he asked.
"If you needed me you would have tried to find me, not try and fight and kill me." I said. "You might not want me, but other people do."
"Oh, one direction? Wow, it's not like me and Chris would miss you." He said. "Give me one reason why I shouldn't kill you right here, right now."
"I have twins, I grew up without a mom, you know how it feels. Do you want them to feel the same?" I said.
"No not good enough." he said and pulled the trigger. I didn't feel pain but I did see Bailey on the floor with blood. I looked at Alex and kicked the gun out of his hands and punched him. He straddled me and I straddled him and put my strength to hold him and he pushed me to hit the floor. He put me against the lockers and I kneed him in his crouch and his stomach. he punched me and I pushed with all might to pushed him off of me. I flipped him and pressed his pressure point and he passed out. I punched him. I got up and walked away and he grabbed my foot and straddled me.
"I never liked you as a sister anyways!" he spat. I couldn't get out of his hold.
"Hayden!" he screamed.
"No please!" I begged trying to get out of his grip.
"Winnie!" Liam yelled.
"Please!" I begged. "What did I ever do to you?!"
"Many things." he spat. I looked and saw Hayden walked around the corner. I saw Ethan and the kids locked in the room. I saw Jake.
"Jake!" I screamed. He looked and saw Hayden. And had pure hatred in his eyes. I saw Logan too.
"You deserve what's coming." he said.
"Wow, your trying to get your own flesh and blood hurt!" I said.
"MOMMY!" I heard Cheyenne and saw her running and Hayden smiling.
"NO!" I screamed kneed him and jumped on Hayden's back and tackled him.
"Logan! Get Chey!" I yelled and he picked her up. I fell off and turned around and I heard a gunshot and felt pain. I fell and heard Ethan screaming trying to get out of the classroom.
"Winnie!" I heard Liam and El.
~Harry's Pov~Before shooting~
"Foods ready!" I yelled. I started hearing beeping.
"What's that noise?" Niall asked.
"Oh shoot it's my necklace!" I said.
"What's that mean?" Louis asked. I was putting on my shoes.
"Winnie's in trouble." I said and they started getting ready.
"Oh shit." Louis said.
"El!" I yelled.
"What's wrong?" she asked.
"Winnie's in trouble!" I said and she ran out the door. We jumped in the car and drove. We drove to the school and saw S.W.A.T. surrounding the front doors. Eleanor jumped out and was trying to get in.
"That's my daughter." she screamed. Louis pulled her back. We heard a gunshot and saw Bailey fall. And Winnie fought the dude and she walked away but he straddled her.
"Hayden!" he screamed. Oh shit!
"No please!" She begged trying to get out of his grip.
"Winnie!" Liam yelled. He was trying to get through
"Please!" I begged. "What did I ever do to you, Alex?!"
"Many things." he spat. I looked and saw Hayden walked around the corner. I saw Ethan and the kids locked in the room. I saw Jake.
"JAKE!" She screamed. He looked up and he saw Hayden. And had pure hatred in his eyes. I saw Logan too behind him.
"You deserve what's coming." he said. And I swear I tried to get through too.
"Wow, your trying to get your own flesh and blood hurt!" She yelled.
"MOMMY!" I heard Chey and saw her running and Hayden smiling.
"NO!" Winnie screamed kneed Alex and Jake and Winnie jumped Hayden and tackled him.
"Logan! Get Chey!" She yelled and he scooped Chey up and brought her to us and ran back inside. Winnie fell off Hayden's back and turned around and I heard a gunshot and it hit Winnie. She fell and heard Ethan screaming trying to get out of the classroom. I got through and so did Liam and we ran down the hall. Liam got next to Winnie and I unlocked the classroom. Ethan picked up Winnie and Nick had Bailey. Paramedics came in took them away and Nick and Ethan went.
"Why the hell didn't you go in?!" I screamed at the cops. We ran to the car and drove to the hospital.
"Winnie Tomlinson and Bailey Horan." Louis said.
"Their in surgery, you have to wait." She said. Niall was crying with Zayn comforting him, Louis and Liam were crying, I was crying, and Ethan and Nick were more pissed than sad. Why do they keep getting hurt?!
~4 hours later~
"Winnie and Bailey." the doctor called out. We all stood up.
"Bailey, she got shot in the stomach and punctured her kidney. She has to have a transplant." he said. "Winnie, she was shot in her stomach and punctured her kidney also." he said. "good news, she doesn't need a transplant. She has bruises and their was something shocking. Did you know Winnie was pregnant?" he asked and we all looked at Ethan. He looked shocked.
"I'm not finished, Bailey was too." he said and we looked at Nick and he was shocked.
"Hold up! Did you say was?" Ethan asked standing up.
"Yes. When they got shot it killed the baby." he said. Ethan put his head in his hands.
"CODE BLUE!" a doctor yelled.
"No, no, no." Nick said and cried. The doctor came back.
"We have a donor." he said. "we have to make sure the surgery goes right. You can see Winnie." and he ran back. We went to Winnie's room and her eyes were closed. Ethan grabbed her hand.
~Winnie's Pov~
I felt some grab my hand. I knew it was Ethan.
"Winnie, are you awake?" I heard Liam ask. I moved my hand and I heard gasps.
"Open your eyes." I heard Liam. I tried and failed. I tried again and they opened.
"The light." I said lowly and they laughed. "where's Bailey?" and they all got quiet.
"What's wrong? Where's Bailey?" I asked again getting worried.
"Bailey's still in surgery." Liam answered.
"W-why?" I asked.
"Because it punctured her kidney and she needed a transplant." Liam said.
"Can I have a minute with Winnie?" Ethan asked and they walked out.
"Winnie, is their something you forgot to tell me?" he asked not looking at me.
"What are you talking about, Ethan?" I asked.
"Don't lie to Winnie, please." he said calmly but with a little bit of anger in his voice.
"I'm not lying, Ethan. I have no idea what your talking about." I said.
"You didn't know you were pregnant?" he said still not looking at me.
"I didn't know." I said scared.
"Well, you and Bailey both were and you lost them." he said finally looking up.
"W-what?" I said sitting up.
"Winnie, how can I not tell that you aren't lying again? You only told Harry the first time." he said.
"Please, calm down. I promise I'm not lying." I said tears falling.
"I'm sorry." he said and hugged me and kissed my forehead.
"I get scared when you get mad." I whispered his ear.
"I just get mad easily if it ever involves you getting hurt. I'm sorry for not helping you, the teacher locked the door." he whispered and I could tell he was trying not to crying.
"It's fine. I was just scared when Hayden saw Chey." I whispered and he froze and pulled away.
"What do you mean Chey?" he asked
"You didn't hear Chey call for me while Hayden was coming towards me?" I asked.
"No, he didn't touch her did he?" he asked through gritted teeth.
"No, when Alex called Hayden I got scared and I saw Jake and Logan. I screamed for Jake and he looked at Hayden, that's when Chey yelled mommy. Hayden turned around and looked her, I kneed Alex and told Logan to grab Chey. Me and Jake tackled Hayden and when I turned around I got shot." I explained. "I don't remember anything after that."
"How did Chey in there anyway?" Ethan asked.
"I guess dad and them brought her and she got loose." I said and shrugged.
"Probably." he said. The boys opened the door.
"Bailey's out of surgery." Liam said and I got up.
"You can't get up Winnie." Niall said.
"You know I am anyway so don't waste your breath." I said in all seriousness. "Hand me my pants." I said and put them on. "Ethan help me." he came and I held him to balance my self. I started walking and saw Bailey. I saw she was awake and crawled in the bed with her.
"Aren't you suppose to be in your room?" she said looking at me.
"Wasn't I suppose to be in my room when the twins were born?" I asked and she smiled.
"Touché." She said and smiled.
"When can we get out of this hellhole?" we asked the same time.
"In the morning." Liam said.
"Thank god." I said.
"But, you two are on bed rest for three days." he said.
"There's always a but." I said.
"Well, we have to go." Louis said.
"Bye, I'll see you in the morning, bae." I said.
"You too." Ethan said and hugged me.
"Not you, Bailey." I said. "your babe, she's bae."
"Well, you have to get to your room." Ethan said and helped me walked.
"Bring me sweatpants, a tank top, flip flops, and your varsity jacket tomorrow. Please." I said and hugged and kissed him bye. I got in bed and fell asleep.
