Chapter 73

Winnie's Pov

I woke up and Ethan wasn't in bed, I sat and I didn't hear Caden either. I threw off the duvet and grabbed my robe and phone. I grabbed a bat and walked downstairs quietly, I saw a note on the table.

"Went to the store to get formula and milk, be back later."

I smiled and threw it away, I leaned the bat against the corner and I grabbed some oatmeal and a bowl. I put in the packet in the bowl and put water in it, I opened the microwave and put to bowl in. I shut and there was someone behind me.

"How ya doing Makayla?" The man asked he had a mask on and all black.

"Get out of this house. Now." I said sternly and clenched my fists. He started walking towards me, I stood there pissed. He made me hit my leg on the counter and grabbed my arm.

"You don't tell me what to do." he snapped.

"I just did, didn't I?" I asked with a smirk.

"Smart ass mouth just like your mom." He said and chuckled.

"I'd rather be smart than dumb, unlike you!" I yelled. "Keep my mom out of your mouth!"

"Shutup!" he yelled. He slapped me. I slapped him back, kneed him, and started running. He grabbed my ankle and I fell face first, I flipped over and kicked his face. I grabbed the phone and dialed 999.

"You bitch!" he screamed and my wrist. I flipped him and kicked him, I saw the bat and he ran towards me, I grabbed it and hit him in the stomach, then in the leg and he fell, them in the face and it broke. I heard sirens. I grabbed the pan and knocked him out.

"Police!" a man yelled.

"Freeze!" the police man yelled and pointed the gun at me.

"Where's the intruder?" he asked and I pointed at the floor. One police officer arrested the man.

"Are you ok ma'm?" he asked.

"Yes, sir, I'm fine." I said and they all left. Ethan came in.

"Hey, I saw the police cars, are you ok?" he asked and laid Caden in his bassinet and sat next to me.

"Yeah, I just fought him, beat him with the bat, broke the bat, then knocked him out with the pan." I said.

"Just as long as long your ok." he said and hugged me.

"Yeah, yeah, I know." I said. "Hey, do you remember Christian and Riley, from when we were little?"

"Yeah, Riley used to have the hugest crush on you but yet we were still friends." he answered. "why?"

"I had a photo of me, you, Riley, and Christian and now it's gone." I answered.

"I don't know, you might of just misplaced or lost it." he said.

"Yeah, maybe." I said. "I'm going to put him in his bed." I picked up Caden and took him to his room and laid him down. I walked back to my room and to my closet. I put on short shorts and a big white shirt, I went and laid down. The bed dipped and arms wrapped around me and kissed my neck.

"Hey babe." he said.

"Hey." I said and turned to face him. I kissed him, he put his hands on my waist, he licked my bottom lip and I opened my mouth, he grabbed my bum and pulled me closer, he kissed my neck and found my sweet spot, I moaned and he kissed me again, and we pulled apart and I bit my lip. I kissed him again. We took showers, and sat on the bed. He sat against the wall and had his knees bent so I sat on his lap.
