A/N: Charles and John
I headed towards the prison to visit my boyfriend, Charles. He was finally getting out. We were in high-school he got arrested for killing his parents. His parents weren't great to him, they abused him. He has so many scars and bruises, he never worried about himself it was always me. I would worry about him a lot though, he'd buy me things to keep my mind from worrying about him but I still did.
As I pulled open the prison door I saw Charles grabbing his belongings. I ran to him and jumped into his arms. He caught me and kissed my lips. We shared a long sweet kiss, I pulled away and stared at my Charles. Beautiful. I had to wait for him to change, he came back in regular clothes. He grabbed my hand as we walked out.
"You're so cool, you're so cool," I said hugging his arm he chuckled. "What are you talking about love?" He asked looking at me. "Shh, I'm not finished." He laughed and listened.
"Walking down the hall. Wild eyes, they are black. Like the magic 8 balls." I said. "You got guns for trophies. Mounted up like animal heads. With the skulls of all the high school champs, you keep." I said as we walked.
"In rows above the bed, you told me,"
"When I'm good, I'm very good, But when I'm bad, I'm better." "I'm yours forever, I'm yours forever," I said making a promise.
"You're so cool you're so cool," I said hugging his torso.
"I'll bet when you were born. All the orange Crush and Nehi soda, bottles in the world fizzed over. They wanna break your heart. But it's made of blood and tar. You carry all that suffering. Like a gun between your arms" I said referring to his abusive parents.
"You told me."
"When I'm good, I'm very good, But when I'm bad, I'm better." "I'm yours forever, I'm yours forever," I said reminding him of that promise. I stopped in our tracks.
"And I see the future and there's no death. 'Cause you and I we're angels." I said taking his hands in mine and looking up at him. "You're so cool you're so cool," I said.
He hugged me and smiled. I stood up on my tippy toes to kiss his lips.
