Jasmine's P.O.V

Darling, darling, doesn't have a problem. Lying to herself cause her liquor's top shelf. It's alarming honestly how charming she can be. Fooling everyone, telling him she's having fun.

I remember my encounter with her at school.

"Hi, Carmen," I said sweetly as she walked towards me. I was in the bathroom fixing my skirt. Her hair was long and black but she had it curled. Her face was packed to makeup. What's the occasion?

"Hey, Jazz," she said. She ran her hand up my skirt, I blushed madly. "C-Carmen what are you    d-doing?" I stuttered.

"Shh," she said. She gave me a lustful look. Her crimson red lips taunted me. I wanted to kiss her desperately.

"Let me help you with your skirt baby girl~," I stood there lost in words.

She says "You don't want to be like me. Don't wanna see all the things I've seen. I'm dying, I'm dying." She says "You don't want to get this way famous, and dumb, at an early age." Lying, I'm lying.

I stood there confused.

She kissed me, I kissed back. She deepened the kiss and shoved her tongue into my mouth.

The boys, the girls, they all like Carmen. And I'm one of them. She gives them butterflies, bats her cartoon eyes. She laughs like god, her mind's like a diamond. Buy her tonight, she's still shining
Like lightning, oh, like lightning.

Carmen and I started dating, she'd come over every night and cuddle with me. But she didn't come over tonight. She told me she was working late, mostly 'til the morning. I lied down sadly trying to sleep. But I couldn't.

Carmen, Carmen, staying up 'til morning. Only seventeen, but she walks the streets so mean. It's alarming truly how disarming you can be eating soft ice cream. Coney Island Queen.

I remember her job. It's sad really. She's a stripper.

She says "You don't want to be like me. Looking for fun, getting high for free."  I'm dying, I'm dying. She says "You don't want to get this way. Street walk at night, and a star by day," It's tiring, tiring."

The boys, the girls, they all like Carmen. She gives them butterflies, bats her cartoon eyes. She laughs like god, her mind's like a diamond. Audiotune lies. She's still shining. Like lightning, whoa, white lightning.

Baby's all dressed up, with nowhere to go. That's the story of the light girl you know. Relying on the kindness of strangers. Tying cherry knots, smiling doing party favors. Put your red dress on, put your lipstick on. Sing your song, song, now the camera's on. And you're alive again.

Mon amour, je sais que tu m'aimes aussi
Tu as besoin de moi
Tu as besoin de moi dans ta vie
Tu ne peux plus vivre sans moi
Et je mourrais sans toi
Je tuerais pour toi

(Translation: My love, I know you love me too You need me You need me in your life You can not live without me And I would die without you I would kill for you.)
