Dominic stood on the front deck to the wolf house, watching the road that curled around from the compound ahead. It was snowing again, heavier flakes this time that clung to the ground easily. He still only wore his typical uniform, but this time his crossbow was out, even if slung across his back.

Terra joined him and Jake was close behind her, leaving the door cracked a little. "They almost here?" Terra asked, crossing her arms over her chest.

"They should be soon," Dominic said.

"There are rooms set up for them, though a couple may have to share." Terra drew in a breath and shivered in the cold.

"Anything else we need to know?" Jake asked, sending a glance to Dominic.

He took a moment and just then, a long bus rolled up around the side of the Compound. "It's not uncommon for Pack Cells to form special bonds," the Hunter said. He watched the vehicle slow down as it drew closer. "You might find something similar to an Alpha in their ranks."

"Might?" Terra asked with a frown. The bus had pulled up and through the tinted windows, they could make out the forms of the Pack Cell wolves within.

The bus's engines cut and Dominic stood a bit straighter when the doors slid open. The first to appear was another Hunter, dressed in the usual uniform, though he didn't seem to have any weapons on him. He offered a nod to Dominic, which he returned, then the other Hunter stepped aside to leave the doorway open.

The first wolf out of the bus stepped down beside the Hunter and gave him a golden eyed glare. Her teeth was sharp when she grinned back at Terra, a partial shift claiming her face. She stepped through the snow and waved a hand back at the bus for more to follow.

Terra took a few steps towards the bus as a couple other wolves ventured out behind the first woman. Terra, though, left enough distance between them.

The wolves ranged in age, though none ever looked any older than Lynea at most. A few kids were even in the mix, maybe two or three, but all were older than Wren. One stepped out and immediately found the first woman's side, sticking close as he peered at the Hunters and unfamiliar wolves.

While both Hunters kept close, neither did much to either group. Dominic allowed Terra to take the lead, his weapon still in hand as his comrade remained by the bus with a watchful eye.

"My name is Terra," the Alpha said when they'd all gotten off the bus. "I am the Alpha of my pack, and while we've agreed to work together, we also want to offer you a home, as well."

"You look a little young to be an Alpha!" The first woman called. When she spoke, the whispering behind her grew even softer. "A little soft, too."

Terra focused her attention on the wolf. The woman's presence was clear and powerful against the rest of them. "I am a new Alpha, but that is because we've separated ourselves from another pack. That's where we hope you can help us."
