Lost Memories

"Grabe! Like I'm so happy we went out of here to have lunch! Ang daming eye-candy! Yum!"

I laughed when Chels commented about how hot and handsome our soccer team was. Because d a m n, she's right. Lahat sila may itsura. Lahat sila nakaka-bagsak panga talaga sa sobrang gwapo. I bet they're all sons of big names in different industries, dahil mukha sila lahat mamahalin at may pagka aristokrato. Plus points pa 'yung toned bodies nila at 'yung talent nila. They're the pride of their year level. So no wonder marami rin kaming kasabay nilang fan girls, both sa class naming lower year level and the college cougars na nag-lulunch sa benches.

"Like, I'm so glad naman na napilit ni Grey mag join sa team 'yung twin mo, at least we have an excuse now to watch these hot guys as they played with their balls!"

"Chels!" Natatawang saway ko.

"Eww! Are you turning into an effing prude now?"

Humindi ako sa pinsan ko. I was not a prude.

Ugh. Duh, I was the exact opposite of being prudish. I just didn't find her sexual pun funny at that moment. And besides, having a visual picture of my brother or Grey playing with their respective balls was really making me blush.

"I'm just happy I finally got to see our team play this year. Mabuti na lang at pumayag sila mommy na mag try si Reed mag-aral dito sa Pilipinas kahit one term lang."

"Yeah right. Like, hindi na kita need na itakas sa mga galamay ng brother mo dito sa school just to see some fine meat! See! Hindi na siya nag tratransform into a mad ape dahil nanonood ka ng ibang guys! He will totally think that you're here to support him!"

"You really like younger guys, huh?"

"Nah, I think it's just a phase. I just broke up with my poor excuse of a boyfriend eh, and I am still waiting for Pierre to be with me again, so like, pampalipas oras lang 'to now."

Natawa ako sa sinabi niya. I couldn't wait to be in college too like her. The freedom, the parties...the boys! Unlimited!

Although nakaka-attend naman na ako ng college parties kahit na dati pa at hindi rin naman ako nawalan ng manliligaw o nababakantehan ng boyfriend these past years, alam kong may mas exciting pang naghihintay sa akin 'pag tuntong ko ng college.

I also heard from Chels that older guys were different. Mas malakas daw ang mga loob nito at hindi madaling matatakot kay kuya. Kahit kasi college guys na manliligaw ko ay ang dali niya lang ipagtabuyan, kahit na nasa ibang bansa pa siya! I thought that maybe if I could find someone who could help me deal with that protective twin of mine, that'll be great.

"Where na ba si Keira? Like I already texted her half an hour ago."

I munched my turkey sandwich slowly and didn't answer her. In the field, I saw my brother practiced his kick with Grey. They're still warming-up kaya hindi ko pa siya chine-cheer. And I didn't know if he needed some cheering coming from me especially if we both knew that he would do great. Palagi naman.

Like me, he was always the best in everything he did. Siguro, walk in the park lang iyong try-out niya. Especially if he's the captain of their soccer team in London. Kaya naman wala ng duda na mapasama siya sa official team matapos ng araw na iyon. He's that good.
