Wakas (Part Two)

December 30. Monday. 3:13 pm. (present)

Pierre Vincent Esquivel's POV

"Sir,"

I just had a call with my father, telling him that everything went out smoothly according to plan and no one suspected that we were the one who arranged the kidnapping, when my assistant came up to me and handed me some extra clothes to change into.

I laughed when I remembered a memory from a year ago when I was covered too with Savannah's blood. The only difference was that I have my own injury now.

"Gusto niyo pa po bang mag pa-ospital sir Pierre?"

"No. I'm good."

"But sir, your wounds..."

"I'm fine. The medics already fixed me. Do you have anything else to report to me?"

I sat on the back of my open car as I watched Sebastian Del Fuego and Marco Fernandez stood beside the medical team who was carrying Reed's body into a stretcher and towards the ambulance.

Bloody f u ck. He's still alive?

"Sir, we already disposed Christian and Jed's body like what you ordered. Inaasikaso na rin po ng mga tauhan natin ang mga dokumento ni Ms. Savannah Destiny Fonacier.

She will be considered as deceased like the others.

I looked at Savannah's blood on my hand. It felt wrong that I needed to save her again for something that my family and I started.

Somehow, I was starting to feel guilty.

"And her body?"

"On the way na po sa ating laboratory. Pupuntahan niyo na po ba?"

I didn't answer him right away. I was not sure whether or not I like to visit Savannah after everything that went through that night.

My indecisiveness was not because I didn't care for her at all. Definitely not. It was just that, I didn't find the need to face those f ucking scientists once again. I had countless of meetings with them that week and I decided that it was enough.

What I needed most at that time was an alcohol.

"Get me my drink," I told my assistant. He hurriedly went to the front of my car where my bag was and reached for my hip flask. He gave it to me and I didn't waste time in emptying its contents.

"Anything else?" I prompted.

My assistant then handed me one of his tablets and showed me a news article that just came up that evening. I read the piece as he explained to me what happened.

It seemed like while everyone was killing each other on that bloody f ucking abandoned building; Fredericko's company started crumbling down with him as he faced countless criminal charges that were filed against him by no other than Miguel Fernandez and the rest of his associates.
