Family :: Percy Weasley

You and your boyfriend Percy have been dating for quite a while, it was a formal relationship, as Percy lead a very professional life, which got him the task of being a prefect, and later on, got him a good job at the ministry of magic.

You somehow never gotten the chance to visit the Burrow, the Weasley's home, despite you and Percy's four year relationship. You were kind of happy about it as you didn't think you could handle the Weasley Twins any more than you already do as they are very wild and who knows how they are at home with their family.

This Christmas holiday, Percy decided to pay a visit back home and took you with him. You couldn't decline the offer as you wanted to be around family this holiday and Percy was your family. He was all that you have.

"You think they'll like me?" You asked nervously as you had arrived at the burrow.

"Honey they're gonna love you. You already know Fred and George, Ron and Ginny who looks up to you like a sister. My parents will love you just like everyone else does." He rubbed your shoulder and stood up straight, leading you to the front door.

You two had arrived at the door, knocking gently a short woman with curly red hair was standing on the other side, smiling brightly at the two of you.

"Y/n! I'm so excited to finally meet you." She said as she reached forward to hug me which I couldn't help but hug back.

"I'm excited to meet you too. Percy's told me amazing things about you." I said, as Percy looked down and blush.

"I've heard amazing things about you too." She said which caused me to blush.

"Come In, come in." She waved us in and I smiled, taking my trunk and walking inside.

"Y/n!" Hermione called as she ran down the stairs to hug you.

"''Mione it's been so long!" I said as I hugged her. She pulled away and I gave quick hugs to the other Weasley's who had surrounded us.

"Oh Ginny dear, go show y/n to your room, you two and Hermione will be sharing it for the holiday break." Mrs. Weasley smiled and she took my hand and lead me upstairs to her bedroom.

It wasn't much but it was girly, the walls were a light lavender color with moving photos of her and her family on the walls. In the corner there was some awards from her quidditch playing.

There was two blow up air mattresses on either side of her bed, and they gave me one by the window.

"I hope you like it, I just finished re-decorating just last week."

"I think it's really nice, Ginny." I smiled as I looked around, she hung fairy lights on the ceiling to make it look like little stars.

"So how's everything with you and Percy?" Ginny asked as she sat down on her bed, Hermione sitting beside her, and I stood at the foot of the bed, she patted down a spot in front of them which I sat on.

"Everything's great. He's really a sweetheart." I smiled, I was so in love, and it must be weird because he is Ginny's brother.

"How about you and Harry." I raised my eyebrows, the two hadn't become an official couple yet but everyone knew it was a matter of time.

"We're going smoothly. Haven't quite made it official, but maybe this break will change things between us."

"About you 'Mione, you and Ron?" Ginny and I teased as Hermione turned pink.

"There's nothing to tell, he's been acting strange lately."

"Maybe he's gonna come to his senses and ask you out for the holidays?"

"What if he asks you as a Christmas present? Oh my godric that would be so bloody romantic." I rambled as Hermione blushed, a knock on the open door silenced us as Percy walked into the room.

"Percy what do you want, we're having girl time." Ginny whined as she laid down on the bed.

"I was coming for my girlfriend to ask her to come with me for a moment, please?" He looked at me and I nodded.

The girls squealed as they followed us down the stairs, but I didn't mind them as Percy lead me outside into the snow as he lead me underneath a patch of trees that were ever so green.

He looked at me and smiled, I looked at the burrow to see everyone looking in the window, curious as to what Percy would do next.

I looked forward to not see Percy there anymore, but he was down on the ground- on one knee.

"Y/n y/l/n, my girlfriend of four years I love you so very much. I brought you here this holiday not to just have you spend time with me and my family, but to also do this." He opened a small velvet box to display a gorgeous diamond ring shining in the moonlight.

"Would you do me the honor of becoming Mrs. y/n Weasley?" He asked.

My hand covered my mouth as I nodded. "Yes."

He smiled and slid the beautiful ring onto my finger before standing up and hugging me tightly, spinning me around in the snow that had started to sprinkle.

"She said yes!" The twins ran out of the burrow and to Percy and I, soon after the rest of the Weasley's and Harry and Hermione came out of the house and surrounded us.

I hugged the twins, then Mrs. Weasley, and went through the line to Hermione and Ginny who cried with me and hugged me tightly.

"Finally I have a sister!" Ginny cheered as I laughed.

I went back to Percy who was being attacked by his brothers and I kissed his lips.

"I love you Percy."

"I love you too y/n, forever and always."
