No matter what you say about love, I keep coming back for more, keep my hand in the fire, sooner or later I get what I'm asking for.
You and Oliver had a bumpy relationship once you hit your six month anniversary. You both loved each other very much, but because you're a prefect and Oliver is the quidditch captain and has other leadership roles, you don't have a ton of free time to spend with one another.
Oliver brought up maybe you could be just best friends instead of being in a relationship, but you denied that idea insisting that you two could make it work.
No matter what you say about life, I learn every time I bleed, the truth is a stranger, soul is in danger, I gotta let my spirit be free.
Despite you and Oliver being high profile among the Hogwarts students, many people loved you and many people hated you. Isn't that always the case? Oliver was very popular among the lady students and because of that most of the girls who chased him despised you.
You often felt insecure and struggled with your body image and loving yourself. Oliver told you that it's just human nature for girls to be jealous like that, and he promised a million times that he would never leave you for them. No matter the circumstances.
You couldn't help but grow worried that maybe he would end up leaving you, you were afraid of the unknown and felt like this situation was dangerous, but there was only so much that you felt like you could do.
To admit that I'm wrong and then change my mind, Sorry but I have to move on and leave you behind.
You really didn't want to do it, but the bad thoughts were eating you alive. You wanted to be with the man you loved and continue to be happy with him, but when he wasn't around to save you, you felt trapped and you couldn't win no matter what. So, the last resort was you calling the relationship off which is what you went to do.
You found Oliver walking from the boys locker room and you sighed, this is it.
"Hey pumpkin." He kissed your cheek as you smiled slightly.
"What's wrong?" He asked, worried, putting his hands on your shoulders.
"I-I- I think we should break up. Oliver I love you with all my heart, but I can't keep taking these bad thoughts and fear that you'll leave me." You cried involuntary, looking down at the ground before Oliver pulled you in tighter.
"No, baby you know that these bad thoughts are nothing more than thoughts. You know I think you're more beautiful than any other girl in the world. You know I would rather be with you than anyone else." He spoke truthfully and you sighed, maybe you were overreacting.
"I promise, we can make this work." He whispered, kissing your forehead.
I can't waste time so give it a moment, I realize nothing's broken.
Oliver carried you bridal style to the Gryffindor Common Room where you two spent the rest of the day cuddling, as he stroked your hair and whispered loving words. He had his head rested on your chest with his arms around your torso. You had your arms around his shoulders and stroked his hair between your fingers.
You closed your eyes, taking in the relaxing environment before realizing that nothings broken and maybe Oliver really is right about this.
No need to worry about everything I've done, live every second like it was my last one.
Carrying on the next few months was tough sometimes as the bad thoughts tried to take you over but Oliver helped you overcome it. Soon the bad thoughts vanished completely and allowed you to go out and live every second like life could be taken away in an instant. You and Oliver were skipping through hogsmeade with no particular destination in mind, just having fun being together and making teenage memories.
Don't look back got a new direction, I loved you once, needed protection.
You and Oliver had the best time with each other and you felt like nothing could stop you two. You felt invincible and very happy with him as he felt the same with you. You were both on new mentalities and you loved every second of it.
However, one day Pansy Parkinson got a hold of you one day in the girls bathroom, and pushed you into the sink, causing pipes to burst and your head to pound immensely before she left the scene. Leaving you to struggle with walking and getting out of the flooded room.
As you stumbled out of the bathroom, you felt super dizzy and would've fallen to the floor if it weren't for a set of arms to catch you right before you hit the ground. You saw red, but you couldn't tell which Weasley had caught you.
"Y/n?" It was Percy. Oliver's best friend.
You weren't able to speak as Percy quickly picked you up and took you to the hospital wing where Madam Pomfrey fixed your head and suggested you spent the night in the wing.
Since that day, Oliver was your personal bodyguard, and no matter how busy he got he either took you with him or he had a Weasley watch out for you. You're still a part of everything I do, you're on my heart just like a tattoo.
Once you and Oliver graduated Hogwarts you two moved in different directions. You were in a relationship still, but Oliver went on to play quidditch professionally while you went to work for the Ministry of Magic in the magical law department.
You two shared a flat but because of your work schedules you didn't get to spend every second with each other, but when you found yourself at work Oliver had gotten into your head and while he played for many young and older quidditch fans he always thought of you while he zoomed around the arena.
You were a tattoo on his heart as he was on yours.
