I used to think one day we'd tell the story of us, how we met and the sparks flew instantly. People would say, 'they're the lucky ones.'

When you and George Weasley met for the first time, you knew immediately he was the one for you, even if he hadn't known your name yet. You remember the smile on his face when he moved across the classroom to sit beside you as you were paired up for a potions assignment.

Once you got to know each other better, George asked you out which you couldn't decline, and soon you were the it couple at Hogwarts, people loved your relationship.

I used to know my place was the spot next to you, now I'm searching the room for an empty seat.

Ever since that day in potions, you and George always sat together no matter the class, even at lunch you joined him and Fred and sat together.

A year has gone by since you met George and you two were strong, until you two got into a fight yesterday after he accused you of flirting with Fred which both you and Fred quickly denied. Since the fight last night you avoided him, hurt that he didn't believe you when you said he was the only one for you.

Oh, a simple complication, miscommunications lead to fall out. So many things that I wish you knew, so many walls up I can't break through.

You finally plucked up the courage to approach George about the fight and to tell him you love him and that you don't love Fred anymore than as a brother, as he simply was one to you.

George wasn't having it, he would see you walk towards him and he would quickly turn away, heading wherever he could to get you away from him. You were worried that things won't be fixed because of the miscommunication between the two of you.

Now I'm standing alone in a crowded room, and we're not speaking. And I'm dying to know if it's killing you like it's killing me.

Two days have gone by and no words spoke between you and George. You walked in to the great hall for dinner as you saw Fred and George talking and laughing like there was never an argument, you started to wonder if George had come around, or if he just gave up on you. Inside George was aching, he wanted nothing more than to run and kiss you, but he didn't know what you felt.

I don't know what to say since the twist of fate. When it all broke down and the story of us looks a lot like a tragedy now.

You didn't know what to say anymore. You laid in bed unable to sleep, trying to imagine what confronting George would be like, but you had no idea what to say, you didn't know how to prove to him that you loved him and him only. You felt that maybe just calling the relationship off would be the best option, even though it meant you losing your other half.

How'd we end up this way? See me nervously pulling at my clothes and trying to look busy, while you're doing your best to avoid me.

You were in the library studying for a big Herbology exam when you see George and Fred walking in, looking around at the shelves filled with books. George immediately saw you as you quickly turned away from facing him, as you pulled at the sleeve of your school robes and frantically trying to cram information to your brain. Not being able to focus now that you and George were in the same room and he had caught you staring at him.

You turned to look where he once stood, he turned his back and left the library leaving Fred alone looking confused.

I'm starting to think one day I'll tell the story of us, how I was losing my mind when I saw you here but you held your pride like you should've held me.

You shut your book before putting it back where you got it before walking out of the library, your hands were clammy and you were sure you started sweating everywhere else. Fred was still at the entrance to the library as he looked stunned at you. He rose his shoulders, not knowing where George had gone, you sighed and fell to the ground, putting your head in your hands.

"He hates me, Fred." You sighed as Fred sat down on the ground beside you.

"He doesn't hate you y/n, he's just afraid that you two are over. You've been avoiding each other this whole week and it's not going to get any better." Fred pat your shoulder as you rested your head on his shoulder.

"I just miss him Freddie."

"He misses you too." He said quietly.

Oh, I'm scared to see the ending. Why are we pretending this is nothing? I'd tell you I miss you but I don't know how, I've never heard silence quite this loud.

After Fred's pep talk that he gave you in the library, you spotted George walking around the Hogwarts courtyard. Once you walked across the yard from him you both stopped and stared. Your brain told you to run up to him and embrace him tightly, but you were scared he would push you away, despite Fred telling you he felt just as scared as you did.

You were having trouble deciding on what to do, your mind having an argument as you held eye contact with the man you love. Your final decision screamed at you, you ran faster than you ever have as you aimed right at him, you had a big smile on your face as you leaped in the air and hugged him tightly, he put his arm under your bum as he held you tightly, like he would never be able to again.

"I missed you Georgie."

"I missed you a million times more." His voice cracked as you buried your head in his neck as he spun you around gently.
