No Tears :: Draco Malfoy

It was your birthday, which was something you usually would be happy and smiley about for the whole day. It was your day and no one or thing could ruin it for you. That is, until Pansy came into the picture.

Pansy and you never got along, but what made matters worse was that she was hopelessly in love with Draco who you happened to be dating.

So what happened, you may ask? She got a clan of first year slytherins to sneak into your dorm while you were sleeping and filled it with all different reptiles and creatures that wandered through the sheets, pillows and blankets.

When you walked into the great hall, you were greeted by some of the Gryffindors in your year who wished you a happy birthday. You smiled and thanked them before walking to the Slytherin table and sat beside Draco who smiled at you and gave you a quick kiss on the cheek.

"Happy birthday babe." He smiled.

"Thanks Dray." You kissed his forehead.

You reached forward and grabbed some food to start eating before Draco grew wide eyes and reached for something in your hair.

"What is it?" He pulled a small lizard out of your hair before letting it roam the floor of the great hall.

"You had a lizard." Your eyebrows furrowed in confusion.

"That's odd." You said before eating a small piece of fruit.

"Oh there's another one." He pulled another one out before letting it go on the floor.

"Oh I see you got our birthday present to you y/n." Pansy smirked as she sat down opposite from you and Draco.

"What do you mean?" You tilted your head to the side, confused at what she meant while Draco's eyes narrowed.

"Well I had some ruthless little first years put some reptiles in your bed, as a little birthday surprise." She said in her annoying perky voice.

Your eyes widened as you felt your face turn red. You kicked your leg hard to get her in the shin.

"What the hell was that?" She shrieked, causing all of the students to look at the commotion happening at the Slytherin table.

You stood up and quickly walked out of the hall with Draco following right behind you. You couldn't help the tears escaping your eyes as you cried on your birthday. The one day where things should've been going your way was already at a rough start.

You turned the corner in a hall and slid down the pillar, bringing your knees to your head.

"Oh y/n." Draco cooed before getting down to your level.

"There shouldn't be any tears on your birthday." You looked at him, as tears cascaded down and he wiped them away with his thumb.

"Look I'll report her to Dumbledore. But don't let a dimbo like Pansy ruin your day, Princess." You smiled at the term he used.

"See there's that smile. How about we go on a carriage to Hogsmeade and we do what ever you want?" You nodded as you took his hand as he pulled you up, before leading you to the carriages.

"I love you y/n."

"Thanks Dray, I love you too."

"I don't want there to be any more tears today, unless they're happy tears." He chuckled and you nodded, stroking his knuckles with your thumb as you rested your head on his shoulder.

Once you got to Hogsmeade, you went straight to Honeydukes where you got all sorts of candies that you had been craving just for this occasion. You got some pumpkin pastilles, druballs, chocolate frogs and some peppermint toads.

Then you two walked hand in hand to all different shops and had lunch at the three broomsticks, you overall had one of the best birthdays, completely forgetting about Pansy's actions from earlier in the day.
