Defender :: Draco Malfoy

Having Draco Malfoy as a boyfriend was something some people were weary of, especially since you had a good girl reputation and Draco was known as a bad boy. You knew it was all an act and deep down he was a sweetheart and treated you very well.

Draco defended you against his goons- Crabbe and Goyle who wouldn't be afraid to talk smack when you were standing right in front of them. Pansy would have a snide remark to make and Draco would tell her to shut her trap. Every time Draco protected you you seemed to fall more in love with him, and you weren't quite sure how that was possible.

You loved how he put himself in front of you, like a human shield. He would put his arms around you as you would shrink yourself behind him. When the person attacking you was gone he would crouch down to your level, wipe any tears away, press kisses to your face, and then take you to the common room to cuddle with you for the rest of the day.

Now today was something different, something he couldn't quite wrap his head around. You were in Potions, a class you had with Draco, in fact that's when you two met, was when seats were switched and you two were seated next to each other.

"Y/n, I see you failed an exam once again. Surely you must spend more time studying instead of spending more time snogging." Snape's monotone voice boomed around the classroom as everyone stopped to look at you, you sunk into your seat.

Draco stood up, taking the attention off of you as everyone wanted to see what his next move was.

"How dare you professor? Y/n spends more time studying than Granger! Just because she doesn't perform well on exams doesn't mean she's not smart!" Draco was sticking up for you, defending you against your teacher.

"Mr. Malfoy, you mustn't speak to a professor like that. For that sudden outburst I will have to deduct 50 points from Slytherin house at once. Do I make myself clear?" Draco nodded before sitting down. Snape continued to go on passing back tests.

"I'm sorry he said that about you." You shook your head.

"It's fine, he knows I don't do well on tests."

"Yes but he shouldn't make snide comments like that. How about after class we spend the rest of the day in the common room?" You smiled and nodded.

Class was over and Draco grabbed your hand before taking you in the common room, where he laid you down on the couch and laid down beside you, as he stroked your hair around his fingers.

"I'll never let anyone hurt you y/n. I promise." He smiled and you nodded, before leaning up to give him a sweet kiss on the lips.

"Thank you Draco, for everything." You cuddled closer to Draco, as he looked down at you before pressing a kiss to your head.
