Mikasa POV

We kissed for what I hoped was an eternity. But unfortunately we need to breathe so he slowly pulled away eyes still closed and he looked beautiful  I inhaled deeply smiling at the beautiful person before me.  His eyes opened and he looked at me.

"Come in I want you to know everything. " Is he going to tell me about cheating on me and Hitch?
He grabbed my wrist and led me inside to the home I haven't been in for quite a while.  We sat on the couch and I waited for him to tell me everything I want to know.

He took a deep breath and turned to me he was nervous but he didn't want to show it.  "I..I want to start at the begging" he said and I nod.  "Take your time Eren I'm all ears. " I assured him.  He looked like he was trying to find the begging of this story so I waited patiently.

" It all started years ago.. for some reason my father told me I had to date Hitch when I asked him why he just said to protect our family.  I stopped asking questions because I want to protect my family.  I always tried to be the best boyfriend for Hitch because everytime I did something wrong she would threaten to tell her dad and end my father and I. "

That's so messed up "So... do you... have to marry Hitch? " I asked curiously.  He shrugged "I'm not sure I'm just with her until she leaves me"  I sighed "okay continue" he took sucked in some air.

"And about the cheating stuff.. promise me you won't tell anyone? " he looked at me seriously and held out his pinkie. I nodded and wrapped mine around his.

"I was going to get tutored my Ms Zoë but then Hitch told me to steal the answers" my eyes widened he could get in so much trouble for that "did you... steal the answers? " I asked he shook his head "no but I wish I did now she's going to tell everyone I've been sleeping with Ms. Zoe.

I felt like the entire world stopped.  Was he having sex with the science teacher?  "E-Eren why would you... with the teacher?  That's illegal why... "  he started to freak out and wave his hands around.  "NO!  No I'm not actually sleeping with her it was just some threat Hitch made so I would steal the answers but I didn't and I would never baby I wouldn't." I sighed in relief also feeling the butterflies in my stomach from the pet name he gave me.

"I didn't get the answers for her and I also broke up with her." He reached to pull his phone out of his pocket. "Look! "

He showed me text messages similar to the ones Hitch did but he showed me the ones that were sent before.

Hitch💕-

Did you get it?

Me-

Did I get what?

Hitch💕-

Whatever since you want to play dumb I'm coming over

Me-

No you don't have to come over just tell me

Hitch 💕-

Wow Eren your sarcasm is great. I mean did you get the answer sheet you dumbass

Me-

What are you talking about my sarcasm is bad how would you even recognize sarcasm through a text?

Hitch💕-

Your sarcasm sucks everywhere did you cheat or not?

Me-

Hitch don't worry I'm not gonna cheat I just need to go there for a little loosen her up and then get what I need from that bitch I've gotta say she's pretty tough it might take longer than I expect

Look Hitch I think we should break up we clearly aren't meant for each other so just agree with me and let's end this

I looked up at him after reading. "So.. were you just being sarcastic? " I asked with caution still trying to process everything that's happening. He nodded " I would never do anything to hurt you Mikasa I promise this was all just a misunderstanding " he turned his phone off and put it back in his pocket.

He didn't do anything wrong "you broke up with her? " I ask wanting to hear him say it again.  "Yes we are through no more Eren and Hitch"  yes!  "But.. what about your family? She'll ruin you!" I say worried.  He shook his head calmly.  "I don't care what she does to me I'll get through it" I take his hand "I'll help you through it! " he moves closer to me"Mika I want to make it official..will you be my girlfriend? " he asked

I felt like my heart burst with happiness and it probably did because everything went black again.

When I woke up again I wasn't in a boring white hospital but a room that I was very familiar with.  It wasn't the most colorful but definitely more comforting than a hospital room.  But would you feel more comfortable in a hospital room or your own bedroom?

How did I even get in my bedroom? I stayed confused trying to put pieces together and I remembered the horrible things Hitch did to Eren.  Soon after he walked in with a bottle of water.

He smiled at me "Hey!  You're finally awake you passed out but don't worry you're fine just drink some water " he walked closer and held up the water I smile and took it from him.  "How did I get here? " I ask "I brought you here.. you passed out after I asked you.. my question and I didn't know what to do at first but I remembered to do everything my dad told me, I was going to just let you sleep in my bed but my dad says when the unconscious person wakes up they might be a little scared so it's best to have them in a place with familiar faces or objects. I thought it would be best if you woke up in your own room. " aww that's really sweet of him

I nod my head at him "how'd you get in Mr Doctor?  Did you kick down my door? " he laughed shaking his head "no I brought you here and your maid saw us she was actually surprised that... you weren't in.. the hospital?  Mikasa are you sick? " he asks and I shake my head " No! I passed out earlier and she brought me to the hospital but I am fine I escaped to kiss you! " I cringed at how weird it sounds saying it out loud. "That sounded way more romantic before I actually did it"

He sighed and tilted his head a little "you never answered the question... " I take a sip of water "which one? " I ask "will you be my girlfriend? " he asks again.  I smile a little scared I will pass out again.  Luckily I didn't I laugh nodding "yes yes of course I'll definitely be your girlfriend! " he smiled brightly "really?? " I hugged him tight "really really! " he pulled me in for another sweet kiss.
