After hours of laughing and bickering it was time for everyone to go home. I grabbed Sasha's hand before she could go. She looked down at me"oh Eren I'm flattered but I'm not into you like that. Connie is way hotter. " I scrunch my face in disgust. "What? No. I want to tell you try to get Mikasa to call me by tonight. " she crosses her arms. "And what do I get out of this?" I roll my eyes. "I'll buy you snacks, as much as you want just please.. I really want to talk to her. " Sasha smiles "yeah yeah I'll see what I can do but if she doesn't call you better give me snacks for trying. I can't force her to talk to you. "

I nod and say goodbye as she leaves. I turn on the tv and I watch kid's cartoons for a while but my mind keeps drifting to thoughts of Mikasa.

"Wow your hair looks amazing Mika! "I watch Historia and Sasha gawk at Mikasa's new hairstyle. I was right she does look cute. Mikasa blushes and looks down. "Do you guys really think so? Maybe I'll keep it short! " Jean cries out "noo your beautiful hair why did you do this? " Mikasa laughs and points to me. "Eren gave me the inspiration! " I smirk and stick my tongue out at him. "You punk you forced Mikasa to cut off her hair. " I grab his shirt "what are you talking about? I didn't force her to do anything! " Mikasa pills us apart "Jean don't be upset it's just hair I can grow it back. " Jean sits down looking defeated and I can't take the smirk off of my face.

Whether it's short or long hair Mikasa always looks like a goddess.

I smile thinking fondly of her. I hope you're okay Mika. I close my eyes to sleep.

When I wake up next time the nurse is talking to someone but it's not my friends. I open my eyes to see a few police officers standing in the door. Oh yeah the doctor did say they would be coming to talk to me.

I turn to face them and the nurse smiles at me."Oh Mr Jaeger you're awake! These officers are going to talk to you about what happened. I'm going to leave but press that button if you need anything. "

I nod and the officers take seats next to my bed. "Good morning Mr Jaeger we hope you're feeling well we have some things to talk about with you. " I sit up as straight as I can without hurting myself. "So if you don't mind, please tell us everything you remember from that night. " another officer says.

I think back to events. "Uh I got back from walking my girlfriend home.. Hitch was in my house. She was saying crazy stuff. " I shake my head trying to remember.

"What kind of stuff was she saying? " one of the officers asked. "Something about how she loves me and we should be together. "

"We're still together Eren you can't leave me not for her not for anyone "

"She was kissing me. "

"She threatened me. "

"She seemed so broken. "

"I got away from her for a little while but she chased me down.. No one would answer their door and yeah... I got shot I guess."

The police nod.

"Umm that's all I remember sorry hope that was helpful.. "

"It was thank you Mr. Jaeger. We'll be back later today for now you should relax and eat breakfast. " They patted my back and left.

I ordered some fruit and I ate while looking through my phone. I got a message from Sasha.

I sigh knowing I can't do much from this stupid hospital bed. "Curse you stupid hospital stupid bed stupid Hitch I should be with Mikasa right now! "
Cursing the hospital and the bed is pathetic but Hitch deserves it. I hope she hasn't don't anything to Mikasa. I'll kill her.

I wait for more messages from sasha but the police come back so I put my phone away. I don't want to see them I want to see Mikasa.

They take their seats again. "afternoon Mr Jaeger. We just have a few more questions for you about Ms Dreyse. "

Who's Ms Dreyse I only know Hitch the bitch.

"How long did the two of you date? "

"Almost 8 years."

"Did you ever physically abuse her? "

"No. "

"Did you ever emotionally abuse her? "

"I don't think so. "

"Why did you start dating her? "

"Don't you think that's too personal? "

He laughed. "You're right I'm sorry. "

"Do you know Mikasa Ackerman? "

I gasped hearing Mikasa's name.

I nod. "Yeah.. She's my girlfriend...Why do you ask?"

"Ms Dreyse kept mentioning her, said she ruined her relationship with you.. "

"Mikasa didn't do a damn thing! Hitch is just mad I don't want to be her puppet anymore! "

"Easy son there's no need to yell at us. I'm sure this Mikasa is a wonderful person that's just what Hitch told us."

"You talked to Hitch? Did you arrest her already? "

"Yeah we found her pretty quickly. It seems like she tried to flee to another city she didn't get very far though."

"Why not? "

"She caused a car accident. "

Hiyaaa I'm back! I just wanted to say I'm sorry for not updating this story a lot. Last year was so busy and stressful for me and I'm sure everyone else too. Thank you so so much for being patient! I've been reading your comments they're so funny and cute 😂y'all are great. I want to try to finish this book this year it's taking me forever I'm so sorry. But I hope you like it and I hope this year turns out great for all of you. I'll try to update this again this week. 💜💜💜
