Mikasa pov

I was about to speak to doctor Jaeger when I heard my name being called.

"Mikasa"

I looked up and saw a doctor standing in the door.  I stood up.  "Follow me" she said. I did we walked through the long hallways.  There was always something I found comforting yet terrifying in a hospital. I don't know what it was.

I followed the doctor trying my best not to look through the small windows on the doors and invade other's privacy. It felt like we had been walking forever and I wish we did. But we stopped at one door the doctor turned to look at me.

"Your aunt is awake she asked to see you don't say anything that could upset her and don't be too loud please. " I just nodded scared to use my voice, scared that only sobs will come out. 

She opened the door "Mrs. Ackerman, your niece is here. " she said then left us alone. "Mikasa come here. " I heard her say I walked to hee slowly.

She looked awful so awful and she looked like she was in pain. I shook my head. "Aunt Petra, how are you? " my voice cracked. I tried to shake it off and I sat in the chair next to her bed. She didn't answer she just looked at me and smiled. "How have you been? You look great. "Even like this she sounded just as happy and kind as she always has been around me.

I held her hand. "I've been fine " I said quietly while looking down. "How's my Levi? " she asked "They won't tell me anything. " Why won't they is uncle levi all right?  I knew she was worried about him. The doctor said don't say anything to upset her.. "He's doing fine don't worry about him" I felt bad lying but I didn't know what else to say.

She smiled and looked up. "How have you been doing at school? " she asked "Everything is fine at school I have friends I've been learning so much from them. " I blushed thinking about Eren. My Eren. Sweet Eren.  We were supposed to be together by now but all of this happened.

"Mikasa"

"Yes? "

"Are you in love? "

"...."

She gasped "who is it!?! " she suddenly yelled. "W-What?  " she laughed "oh my goodness what's their name?  What do they look like?  Is it a boy or a girl?  Are you the same age?  It's not your teacher is it?  It's not a fictional character is it?" So many questions 

"I'm not telling you everything about him! " I brushed and tried to hide my face with my shirt. "So it's a boy. " I nodded"What's he like?  Please tell me in full detail I adore young love. "

Eren. How do you describe Eren?

"He's amazing he's really nice and funny and he always makes my day better. He took me to an arcade and he gave me clothes. He broke up with his girlfriend for me. She was an awful person. I love him I miss him we were supposed to meet this morning... "

I didn't notice that I started crying. "I thought he called me but he didn't I should have been with you guys and not him i-" "shhh Mikasa.. "She gave me a sad smile. "Your uncle and I won't be with you forever. I wish we could but you know things don't work that way. You need other people to look after you and love you and you found some from what I hear they're wonderful young people I'm so happy you have them in your life.  And this guy you love he really seems like something try to understand his girlfriend though.  Bad people are bad for a reason. "

I wiped my tears and nodded. I opened my mouth to say something but the door opened. "Ms. Ackerman your uncle is awake if you want to speak to him and your parents would like to see you if you don't mind Mrs. Ackerman. " I gave aunt Petra one last hug and then I left.

I followed the nurse to uncle Levi's room which thankfully was near Aunt Petra's. "You call this a hospital?  If someone hadn't told me I would've mistaken it for a dumpster with a bed.  Get someone in here to clean my room or I'll get up and do it myself " I heard the deep voice of my uncle making another nurse on the verge of tears.  I walked to him  he looked at me. "Mikasa get me some real tea why don't you the stuff they're trying to give me here is poisonous I swear " I looked at the liquid on his tray "That's water uncle levi... " he glared at it. "Mr Ackerman you can't drink tea in your condition please drink the water without complaint and this hospital is spotless! " the nurse defended while opening the window and letting the sunshine in.

Uncle levi pointed to the floor"If it's so clean in here why can't I see myself in the floor? " he tried to stand "that's it I'm cleaning this filthy place myself. " the nurse shook her head"Sit down Mr. Ackerman! " I laughed a little watching everything go down. I was in such a good mood out of the blue I blurted "I'm in love uncle levi!" I said while smiling."I don't care" he said uninterested "No like real true love I'm really really in love with someone" he rolled his eyes"Give me that mop" he said to me. "MR. ACKERMAN YOU'RE IN NO CONDITION TO BE CLEANING RIGHT NOW! " the nurse yelled. Uncle levi yelled back at her and I quietly exited the room.

I went to use the bathroom and I got some food. I was about to go to the waiting room to see if Mr and Mrs. Ral were there but I didn't see them. Instead I saw the police.
