The Twist: Over the course of the Games, there have been many Quells and many twists during these Quells. Tributes have been revived, Victors have been selected, and some tributes were even genetically mutated. But what about the Quell to end all Quells? Over the years, and as the Games progressed, the Capitol's technology gradually got more powerful to the point where even time and reality couldn't stand in their way. Now, for the 1000th annual Hunger Games, the twist has taken a very literal turn as our Gamemakers toy with everything you know. Direction, distance, time, and much more will be warped in the Writer Games: The Final Twist, as if you were looking at life through an actual funhouse mirror. Excited? You should be.
Gamemakers: Fillius Ravenscar (MasterOfTheHouse), Audax Locustus (CrocodileRocker)
A sheet of information on your Gamemakers will be posted along with interviews.
Rules:
-You may have two tributes of any district or gender. However, you may only reserve one at a time.
-As always, you are not allowed to ask fans to vote or guilt/plead/bribe any other tributes for their votes. You may vote for yourself. You must vote for exactly the amount of tributes I have mentioned in the voting chapter, and any vote that does not follow this rule will not count.
-Deadlines must always be respected. Failure to hand in once will instantly put you up for votes. Failure to hand in twice will instantly kill you.
-These Games will work with the score system. For those of you unfamiliar with this system, each Gamemaker will rate each entry out of six, for a total score of twelve. These scores will be cumulative and at the end of each round, the tributes with the lowest scores will be put up for votes. This system is used in the hopes that the best writers will win, and not the people who have the bigger alliances or the most friends.
-Any kills you receive will be taken off your total score.
-There will be additional awards at the end of each task worth three points each: Best Entry, Best Characterization, and Best Quote.
-Punctuality is KEY. At the end of each task, the first entry will receive an extra point to their score, the last entry will lose two points to their score, and any entry that is send within the last hour before the deadline will lose a point. This is because our Gamemakers both need to score the entries, and if we get twenty entries an hour before they're due, odds are we will get annoyed and not be able to post entries on time.
-If a Gamemaker is away or does not complete their scores by the time they must be posted, the other Gamemaker will score out of twelve in compensation.
-Hopefully these Games can occur without any trouble. Therefore, I would like to ask everybody to treat each other with pure respect. No criticsm. If you don't have anything nice to say, say nothing at all. If you do have something nice to say, then feel free to say it if you want.
-Any entry must be sent to me by Private Message.
Thank you all, and I'm sure these Games will be great!
Reservations will be posted tomorrow (Tuesday, July 9th) at 8 AM EST, possibly earlier or later depending on what time I wake up.
-Fillius Ravenscar
