Abnegation Male - Stewart Banachali
Already, people crowd in the large room. A wiry younger man looks timidly across the room till he lands on a raven haired girl with blue eyes and a short frame. As their eyes meet they smile joyfully. Rushing towards each other, the girl cries Into his boulder, attempting to lower the noise. I turn to the side, allowing them to have their much needed privacy.
I wait on a small table, perfect for two others. It sits in the middle of this crowded room, lonely even though its surrounded by a mass of people. I hum quietly and impatiently as I wait for a familiar face to stand out in the crowd. Instead, as my eyes burn lasers through the people I find nothing. No familiar face, no familiar voice, no familia- until in the corner I spot him. A burly hunk of a man, a face hidden of emotion, though the twinkle of mischief in his eye makes me feel a slightly better.
He wanders through the room uncomfortably, giving small nods to others as he passes. He bumps into a frail woman and frowns as she wobbles against her walker. He mutters something before laying his hand on her shoulder, and walking towards the centre of the room again. Soon enough, he stands in front of me, smiling the faintest of smiles before pulling out the chair beside me, and sitting down.
"Hello Stewart." Crows feet crinkle at the corners of his eyes.
"Hey dad." A loopy grin starts up half my face.
"How's initiations been so far, kid?"
I shrug. "Alright, I guess. It's been fairly easy too."
"The dauntless initiations been fairly good, too. You're missing out."
Frowning, I twirl my hair on the edge of my finger. I reply, "I chose Abnegation for a reason dad."
A cruel smile worms it's way onto his face. "Doesn't mean you haven't missed out. You know you can switch over son, they could make exceptions for you."
"Funny how I don't want to switch over though." A yell has already began to worm it's way into my vocal cords.
"Just saying you could." He raises his hands in surrender, showing me pale palms. He checks a non existing watch, his nose twitching. "I should be going, this place is a little dull."
My nose flares. "Yeah, you should be going. And don't come back please."
"Awe, won't you miss me though? I know your mother does terribly." He bats his eyelashes, even though they are barely seen under the long bangs of his unruly blond hair.
"I never said she couldn't, you just anger me too easily I a place where it's frowned on to cause attention to yourself by yelling. If you want to contact me, please send a letter." A twirl on the edge of my toe, and walk out the doors, officially telling my father- Faction before blood.

Amity Male - Frank Rudick
Visiting Day was one of my favorite days of the year, or at least it used to be. It used to be that it was a day off of school, so that we could visit whoever had transferred out of our Faction during the year. Since I was the oldest in the family, we never had anyone transfer out until now, so it was really just a day to relax and spend time with each other.
I doubted that it would stay that way for much longer. Today at least, meant my family coming to see me for the first time since the Choosing Ceremony. They weren't happy with me at all. I wanted to be happy that they were honest about it, since that was the way I was raised, but it upset me too. They should have been happy for me, that I was finally in a place where I belonged. Even if they needed to lie to spare my feelings, I would be OK.
